I can only say ... awesome! Uniforms and weapons are an amazing accuracy. Congratulation! I like a lot.:goodjob::goodjob:

I noticed the UK/US and Neutral units not appearing for me either. Were you just previewing their coming for a future post, or is there some glitch afoot? Otherwise, they look great!

Thanks Gareth.

Americans are on the 1st post, started work on the Brits. :)

I'm wondering. Does modern Germany (or even late '80's West Germany) have a marine (amphibious troops) unit of any significant sort? I'm not actually even sure if WW2 Germany had a unit with such training and specific purpose, for that matter...

The British are here, check the first post.

Mostly variants of Typhoons units, marked TY, plus some of my own. Big thanks to Gareth, as always, for his IDF and WW2 unit packs.

Fantastic work Tanelorn. It really makes designing scenarios so much easier when there are comprehensive collections of quality units like this available, and with the 127 units limit more of them will one day see action in scenarios. Keep up the good work mate!

Thank you, M. That is exactly what I had in mind.
The Neutrals are now up in the first post, and with a fixed Norwegian snow dude I think I am done with Europe. Moving to Iran next.

These units are wonderful. Any chance you'll make some Asian infantry like China, Japan, Taiwan or the Koreas?

Hell, yeah! We had the "Kampfschwimmer" (sth. like "Combat-swimmer" or "-diver"). Their slogan was: Suffering without moaning!

I must admit I know eff-all about guns, but is that thing gonna work after being taking for a swim? :ar15:

Yes, see for yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGwkHktkTxU
A long strong piston (Bren, AK or derivative, Galil, Sig etc.) will just shake off the water and shoot.
A direct impigment gun like the M16 will blow up in your face.
A short stroke piston (SKS or AR18 derivatives like the Howa, SA80, G36 or HK416) like this one might, depends on how it is designed to cycle the gas.

That bloke is a lunatic!:lol:

love the way he protects himself with a helmet and wetsuit for the exploding Colt test!

Yes!

Anyway, the Islamic Republic of Iran and its internal opponents are on the first post.
IRIA is the regular army, IRGC are the Revolutionary guard, Basij is volunteer militia/ police/ suicide troops.
Mujahedeen are marxist People's Mujahedeen that sided with Saddam, Fedai are "nationalist" independent Iranian communists, Tudeh is your taditional Moscow controlled communist party. Kurds are PDKI party socialists. I recommend watching the animated movie Persepolis.
I actually made a child soldier with an AK but it made me so sick, especially after looking at the war pictures. So I decided not to post it and replaced it with the "youth" unit. If someone decides to make a realistic Iran- Iraq scenario and thinks he/she really needs it, PM me and I will send it to you.
But it feels so wrong.
You know, Persians, like the cat -meow ;).

Next: Afganistan, Soviet occupation.

Afghans of Russia's war in Afghanistan are up. The last 3 can stand in for Taliban too.
