Faith should not be a normal property... it's part of the religion properties we want to use in the 1D property system.
 
Yeah I believed the rest will require 1D property system because of the code required.
 
Luxury should somewhat generate crimes. It would make things like jewellers generating crime redundant.

I am not too convinced about what these properties will bring to the game. Pollution properties clearly makes sense but they feel very unfinished and unbalanced (not enough way to cope with them at some points, too easy at other times). The radiation one proposed would definitely nicely complement the existing air and water ones.
I will try the last version when I'll start a new game and report, but it is somewhat disappointing that many features feels like they are abandoned in an unfinished state as soon as the mechanism is in the game. Do the people modding the game actually play it, other than testing ?

I don't want to sound ungrateful, the mod is great, but playing it you get to understand pretty quick that for modders, it's probably more fun to add new stuff than to make the included one actually work as real gameplay additions.
 
Just curious, have you considered the possibility of specialists/super specialists or Great people having an affect on such properties?

Great Person

Education: Great Teacher
Luxury: Great Socialite
Entertainment: Great Entertainer
Tourism: Great Adventurer

I can empathize with your point. However, some of our loose ends may be misunderstood at the moment. Even if we don't seem to be directly working on some of them, most are probably threads that are planned to be reworked or to be tied into as the current projects come back around. The mod is in such a stage of constant development that we cannot help but to have many such unfinished works. In many places we have placeholder effects and objects that will be far more developed once another aspect of the project has been put in place. Not to say you don't have a point but have some faith... I'm sure the mod will eventually reach a point where we begin to really buckle down and clean it up.
 
Do we have ability to add property to unit? Now all properties are connected to city.

For example each unit will have property morale.

It will be good if we will have ability to connect property to:

PLOT

As far as I can see we do. Just look at the healer units they have the disease property attached. I may be adding a couple of civ level properties as part of te WLBO merge.

They don't... they have the Disease property MODIFIER.

However, I believe a unit can hold a property value. AIAndy claimed they could we just haven't done it yet. And that's a big part of the Morale project plan too.

Units can have a property value, a normal (5) or a negative (-5) with GOM_UNITTYPE.

Same with Promotions, but we haven't used them.

With gom unittype you add property value to ALL units of the same type.
I want to have property to EACH INDIVIDUAL unit.

Am I understand this tag value correct?

Correct, like cities and plots, units can hold properties. So can players, teams and the game itself, which together I call game objects (while promotions, unittype, buildings and the like are game object modifiers).
So you could make an energy property for a unit that slowly charges and allows some special ability when it reaches some energy value.

The 1D property method would be absolutely critical to utilize in this sort of feature.

Tourism
Phase: Added
Certain Buildings Create Tourism Points
Tourism can be used to generate gold, science, culture, education, entertainment, luxury by modders
Tourism is lowered by flammability, air pollution, water pollution, radiation


Why Flammability? I think some Crime have more chance to decrease tourism than flammability

I think some cross-properties building can be fin too...
Crime + Tourism -> Crime (Tourist traps)
Disease + Tourism : Disease(Traveller's diarhea)

I heard about cases where tourists where taken and their kidney was stolen
 
Yeah, but then, it should only be a crime BEFORE Replacement Organ Tech, since that tech respresents specially grown or constructed for a patient.
It should require modern healthcare or something apropiate thou.

Organletting is becoming quite the epidemic globally, and should be a crime. Even if it had a generic name like Medical Theft.
