--Into--
Set in the year of 1499, just before dawn on the sixteenth century. Rome, the allmighty superpower of the world which dictated to her enemies and allies at will, collapsed in upon itself in 1494 AD, a full half-eon later than was expected. As nations struggle to cope not only with their own populace, but with one another as well, we find ourselves stepping into a diffrent world--the world of Pax Romanae.
--Rules--
Fill out the form for your nation. I will decide all battles and update the map every 2-4 days (4 days will be a rare exception however, I promse). You all know the drill for a story NES. However, there will be a little bit more structure so that the game manages itself a tiny bit more.
--Economy--
Everyone recieves 100 percent of their economy to spend (well, obviously ). This can be spent on either Tech. Expenditures, Economy Expenditures, or Military expenditures. If you invest 100 points (more on this later) in any one criteria over the course of time, you will advance on level in the proper field. However, if you have a high evonomy, you get more bang for your buck--For a prosperous economy, you will recieve 11 points for every 10% you invest, and for a booming economy, 13. However, economies are unpredictable and fluxuate. You might not always get the investment you have made back, and your economy is liable to dropping, falling into stagnance (10%=10 points), recession (10%=9 points), or worse, depression (10%=7 points). Standard exchange is 10% for 10 points.
For economies, the levels are, from lowest to highest:
depression
recession
stagnant
prosperous
booming
--Military--
Every nation has a navy and a military, whose efficiency are subject to the technology avaliable to them. Each nation controls an army and a navy, however, eventually flight technology will become avaliabe. Nations will have to build their airforce from the ground up. As stated, the armed forces branch of a nation must recieve 100 points before it can upgrade.
The order of size for armies and navies are, from lowest to highest:
None
Tiny
Small
Medium
Large
Gigantic
--Technology--
There are several diffrent technological levels. Most nations will start off in the Middle Ages, however some will start off in the Iron Age, and others in the Renaissance Ages. As stated, the technological branch of a nation must recieve 100 points before it can upgrade. All armed forces are immediately upgraded.
The order of technology is, from lowest to highest:
Iron Age
Middle Ages
Renaissance Ages
Gunpowder Age
Colonial Age
Imperial Age
Industrial Age
Modern Age
