3. Sometimes I wonder if he pulls me into a trap. He`ll attack, then pull back, i`ll follow and suddenly find my troops surrounded by a massive attacking force of enemey and get wiped out.
This is something I've seen fairly regularly. I fell for it the first time, of course, but have been wary of it ever since. If you recognise the strategy they are using, you can use it against them.
 
I highly doubt it's resource cheating. I think that's just genuine AI stupidity. Maybe the city is on production focus? If there weren't any other resources, it's probably just a random decision to burn money.

This was an issue in previous versions of Civ- the computer 'knows' where oil will eventually be found, but shouldn't be acting on that information until Biology is researched. This bug was 'fixed' in Civ IV (partly because forums such as this brought it to the developers' attention :goodjob:), but I haven't seen it discussed in Civ V yet.
