Game Too Slow For Coop for Civ 5 + Gods & Kings- Can I change speed in a file?

Hello Folks,

I wrote a while ago, asking if there is a Blitz mod for Civ 5+G&K. Someone had written back, stating that mods are not available for multiplayer play; I hope this is no longer true.

If it is (nearly defeats buying the game if you MP), then can I, at least, change the game speed for a coop game myself? Yes, that's a mod, too, but I wonder if this would be a workaround. And, where would those files be?

Thanks, Magzhi for letting me know that mods are not available yet for MP. I don't get this, but, not being able to speed up the game, faster than Quick is going to torture the family. I guess I can't change the files myself for us to use either...
