Just wonder...
As per Slarki suggestion, this thread is meant to collect all undocumented changes to gamplay compared to vanilla BTS. Over time AND has changed a lot and some changes have been introduced without full description in civilopedia or tooltip. So please, if you see any undocumented change to original gamplay, describe it here. We'll add it to the civilopedia eventually. Thank you.

-Very early civics are more important in AND, for example slavery sometimes doubles your science output in the ancient era.
-whipping was removed in AND
-civics are intertwined with revolutions, if you reach later ages, you can build more cities and build them farther away from each other.
-In the early game, you shouldn't build more than ~10 tiles away from your capital (depending on map settings), since the unhappiness from distance from palace increases dramatically
-you are allowed to build more wonders per city, but it depends on your cultural level
-cities will become much bigger in the late game, with many more happiness sources
-storms have an impact in the game performance (still true?)
-oos is a problem in multiplayer matches

(? recommended settings ?)

Just to expand the list I quote 45° with a little editing.

If anything, a game with unit per tile limit is harder, not easier. 15 seems to be the lowest safe number. Inside a city you can have three times that limit.

Why is 15 the lowest safe number ? what happens below that ?
It used to crash. Now it shouldn't anymore but if you change the limit in game, it might crash again.
