I also agree about an Orthus that can wipe civs. The problem (but it will be adjusted in 0.14) is his starting turn on epic speed. Too early.
Nevertheless, it was a very very fun game. Barbs come from everywhere and i had to send troops to all frontiers,.... fun !:lol:

Will you improve the barb in a next version ? new troops (mounted ones for exemple), new hero, specific building,....

I noticed you have adopted the format a main file and a patch file for all downloads. This assumes you can change the patch file for smaller installments. I have done the a, c, d, versions where there has been a main and a patch file each time. How do I know I have the current patch file? Have you in practice updated just the patch file at times?

There is a readme file in the 'Fall from Heaven 2 013' directory that will list the version. It should have 0.13d if it is the latest.

Nope, nothing planned for the barbs in 0.14.
 
How weird is this, on the front page they have an advertisement for kissing, when i came across this: (Basium):blush:

The Romans soon discovered that a kiss has many meanings and assigned words for these different types of kisses, such as osculum meaning friendship kiss, BASIUM meaning passionate kiss, and savium meaning deep kiss, otherwise known as the French kiss.

Id hate to know what kind of a kiss a Perpentach was.
 
Keal, i think we have a infernal crasher. I was playing as sheim, i have two religions, Cult of the Dragon and Ashen Viel. I have research Infernal Pact and try to complete the Infernal Grimore and after it complete, i got a crash error.

In my current game I have the same, but also have OO in cities. When I buit the Infernal Grimore I got a nice free tech from it, so no problem with mine.
 
GPP=Great Person Point - Strategy.

You base great Parts of your Econamy on specialists and get further boost from the Great persons that are emerging. It is eitehr used exclusivley as replace foer Cottages (build farms to support more GP) or additional to cottages.

In contrast to the usual use of GP you do not only built one Great Person Farm.
 
Alrightey. So aside from the Tower of Alteration, a fix for the bugged Marauder spell, and increasing the level requirement for mages/conjurers, any other juicy sneak-peeks on what's to come in 0.14? ^_^

I'm having a lot of fun with the FFH mod. You guys have done some really great, creative things with the Civ4 engine. Thanks for all of your hard work on it!

If I may suggest one small thing that would be of help to those of us who are not regular forum denizens: when you put up a new version of the mod in the first post of this thread, would it be possible to also indicate the date there? That way we can tell at a glance if we have the latest version.

So, for instance:

Fall from Heaven II
Version: 0.13 (07/06/06)
or something like that...

Yeah, its there, although I try to get all the significant things into the changelog there are actually hundreds of minor tweaks that never make it in.

Ok.
I also read that some buildings will add +2 xp to some "race" units (demon Altar and Brewery). Great. I liked that idea in FfH1. Good news !
What about elves, undeads and humans ? Probably in 0.15 ?

Still improved, always the best ! : this is FFH 2 !!!
