Yellow forests and brown grassland

This is very annoying. Half of the times I start a new game I get yellow forests or brown grassland. I don't know if it's supposed to look like it's autumn but it's really ugly and I don't want it to look like that. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks in advance

That might be the case. When I play on a large map sometimes the forests disappear when I move the camera over the world, as if the card is "tired". But it's strange since the graphics in Civ V aren't that fantastic. I can play Skyrim without any lag.

In that case I would say they failed, because those yellow forests aren't pleasing to the eye. If they were optional it would be okay though. Thanks for helping anyway. :)
