binkw32.dll error

I just purchased Civ III for my son and after installing it and trying to run it received a message that said "cannot run Civ III as binkw32.dll was not found". Having read the postings on this and other websites re this problem it is clear that other people have this same error but its not clear that there is a solution.

If your binkw32.dll isn't good or you don't have it is try to replace it.
