Hi guys, I'm back. This is an AC, and at this point I'm going to assume we all know what we're doing. Chat is here.

And no, I don't have any snappy title. Sorry.

The premise of this AC is that you are all the sidekicks of superheroes, living in an interconnected series of cities of indeterminate location in the USA. There's a Justice League of sorts, and a subordinate organization of sidekicks, working together as a team with each other and led on alternating missions by each grown member of the League.

So to start with, let's get the unimportant stuff together so we can move on to the fun RP things.

That should be it. Missions will be Thursday nights at 5PM EST under regular circumstances, unless people tell me other times work better. Unless there's a conflict, I can run missions most weeknights as well, and this upcoming Saturday I should be free to mission as well.

Next two posts reserved, though we all know I'll just religiously update them for a little while and then forget about them. It's the thought that counts.

Also, I have NO stats or anything on file for this monster at the moment, so any help you guys can provide with villains, plot ideas and potential minor heroes would rock.

Characters:

Full Members of the League of Heroes:
Spoiler :
American Eagle:
Real Name: Charlotte Marie Noel
Appearance: Green eyes, red hair, 5' 11", typically dresses in blues and reds with white hairbows/shoes/belts/other accessories. Costume is a blue suit with white gloves, mask and boots and a red cape.
Secret Identity Occupation: Extremely rich businesswoman
Place of Residence: Noel Manor, Lexington
Mentor Of: Mockingbird
Data:
Spoiler :
Charlotte was raised as a perfectly proper upper class twit, but something in her education about American history stuck, and people noticed as she grew that she was becoming more and more distasteful of America as it was, constantly quoting Revolutionary and Civil War-era philosophers. She vanished on her fifteenth birthday, launching one of the largest searches in Lexington's history(and prompting a massive firing spree in the corrupt police department) but returned ten years later with a great(and more than half made-up) story about having been kidnapped and trafficked. She neglected to mention the martial arts, technology, criminology and political science skills she picked up along the way, and now the heir to the Noel fortune moonlights as American Eagle: the hero who will inspire the people of America to remember what their nation was founded to represent - freedom, justice, and equality for all.

Sovereign Eagleson:
Real Name: Kendrick Banner
Appearance: He has skin tanned from spending so much of his long life outdoors, with ghost-white hair on the top. His super suit is actually his military uniform decorated with all the medals he earned over his career. He has a gruff voice and larger than life personality that immediately dominates whatever room he is in.
Secret Identity Occupation: Elderly Man
Place of Residence: An Extremely American House in Washington, DC
Mentor Of: Bunnyman
Data:
Spoiler :
Has a pair of MAJESTIC EAGLE WINGS sprouting from his ALL-AMERICAN SHOULDERS. His feet are not weak and fleshy like those of a pansy human, but are actually GLORIOUS TALONS OF JUSTICE. He has extensive training in hand-to-hand combat and experience commanding groups of individuals. Nothing can escape his vigilant gaze. And his EAGLE CRY can cause any followers of EVIL to SOIL THEMSELVES.

Born in 1924, Kendrick Banner was once a normal, puny, vulnerable human, but after the breakout of WWII, his intense patriotism and desire to lodge his size 14 feet in some Nazi rectums caused him to spontaneously transform into the great and powerful SOVEREIGN EAGLESON. He immediately enlisted in the special forces, and was sent overseas on sabotage operations in Germany itself, where he proved to be one of the most, if not the most, competent soldier the allies had, and deformed many Nazi behinds with his newfound talons. He served throughout the Cold War, but is not immortal, and was sent to act as the US military's liaison to the League of Heroes during the Reagan administration. He has been with the League ever since, and while at first there was some distrust of him, with some members suspecting him of being a spy for the government, he has since proved himself an eminently capable and reliable ally, who has been with the League for longer than some of their more public & famous members.

Seraph: DECEASED
Real Name: Gordon Howard
Appearance: Wears ragged, dirty clothes, often of poor fit. When superheroing, covers his face with a bandanna but does nothing else resembling a costume or heroic identity. Smells. A lot.
Secret Identity Occupation: Hobo
Place of Residence: Mobile within Los Angeles, CA
Mentor Of: Quarantine
Data:
Spoiler :
Born in L.A. Gordon grew up during the LA superhuman riots and in one of the most effected neighborhoods of the riots. The riots themselves started when a superhuman vigilante beat up a suspected gang member and was acquitted of doing so, this sparked massive anti-superhuman sentiments in the city which eventually lead to wide spread rioting and looting. Many gangs used this incident as a tool to grow their membership, offering protection and basic services while the state struggled to bring the city under martial law.

As a superhuman who was just discovering his powers before the riots started Gordon was a prime target for the anger of the rioters. But, due to his ability to manipulate luck, he was able to find protection in the form of membership of the 11th Street Panthers, an African American gang that hadn't been consumed by anti-superhuman sentiments. After joining the gang Gordon quickly climbed its ranks, using his powers of luck manipulation to help advance the gang and his ability to manipulate biology to fight rival gangs. With his assistance the 11th Street Panthers were able to greatly expand their territory even into areas that were once considered too well controlled by police to be expanded into. Well liked by his fellow gang members Gordon thought he had found his place in life.

But such a life could not last, the gang's expansion was often violent and as such they made many enemies. This lead to a coalition of gangs being formed to cause the downfall of the 11th Street Panthers. On the night of their ambush Gordon had been lead away from the gang's territory due to a fight with his friend, which ended up saving his life from the massacre that occurred. The gang destroyed with its members either dead or in prison Gordon was left with nothing. But this destruction allowed him to rebuild himself, he saw the endless cycle of hate created by the violence of the gangs and vowed to turn away from it and repent for the damage he had caused.

Abandoning his home he took to the streets he began to live a life of self imposed poverty and helping others, using his luck manipulation to avoid fighting by making his opponents defeat themselves and only using his ability to manipulate biology to heal. Among the people he helped he became known as Seraph for how he would always be helping others. He is now much older and often works with the League of Heroes, especially with their humanitarian work. He has gone on the record as being against secret identities and elaborate costumes, stating that they isolate heroes from the people that they mean to protect and citing law enforcement officers and judges as people with no powers to protect themselves that deal with criminals without the need for a secret identity. Still he wears a bandana when going out as a nod to the tradition of wearing masks.

Spirit:
Real Name: Fiona Blackspire
Appearance: 5'9", with long red hair and green eyes. When heroing she wears her hair in a braid, but normally leaves it free. Her hero costume is a tight fitting suit made of a light red material, and a mask of the same material covering her eyes and forehead with a pink heart emblem between her eyes.
Secret Identity Occupation: Psychologist
Place of Residence: Constantine City
Mentor Of: Disciple
Data:
Spoiler :
Having moved to Constantine City from Ireland to study at the university, Fiona Blackspire is the alter-ego of the superhuman known as Spirit. Although not initially an outright villain-fighting superhero, Spirit has adapted to the role without problem, seeing it as a necessary part of her role; an example inspiring others to 'bring love' to the world. Exactly what this means to her she has never made clear, using the phrase to describe involvement in almost every sort of social or environmental issue, leading some to conclude she means some sort of community spirit. Her powers of healing are well known, as are her abilities to fly and create glowing pink shields and blasts. It is less common knowledge that these blasts are actually just a crude form of emotion manipulation, or that she can sense and manipulate emotions without them on a more subtle scale, almost unconsciously radiating goodwill to those around her.

Since his adoption, Arthur has seen 'aunt' Fiona from the other side; a well-meaning psychologist with a happy-go-lucky streak and a mild drinking problem. These problems have been tempered somewhat by her determination to raise the child well, and the compassionate understanding that fuels Spirit's powers combine with her psychological training and empathic ability to make her a remarkably adept parent.

Is Artemis Fletcher's half-sister.

Inertia:

He briefly retired from the whole thing a few years ago, but at the urging of his nephew he decided to come back long to see Erwin through his first few years.

Saibārenjā:
Real Name: Saibārenjā
Appearance: Saibārenjā looks like a muscular Japanese man, perpetually wearing simple clothes that harken back to the land that is not his birthplace, but that he holds very dear to his heart. In battle he dons a set of heavy armor in Samurai fashion.
Secret Identity Occupation: N/A
Place of Residence: Jido City
Mentor Of: Raija Girl
Data:
Spoiler :
Saibārenjā is an incredibly advanced android manufactured by the American branch of the high technology corporation Tachibana Cybernetics over a period of several years. His creation was less then altruistic, however, as the branch intended to use the robot as a publicity stunt to capitalize on the superhero craze in the country. The minds behind the android superhero did their jobs a little too well, however, and the robot's AI was so advanced that he became self-aware and subsequently refused to be a mascot for the corporation. In order to avoid a lengthy court procedure, Tachibana Japan stepped in to negotiate a contract with Saibārenjā that made him an employee instead of their property, essentially giving him his freedom. Despite a few legal battles questioning the rights of the android, Saibārenjā began working as a full-time superhero, quickly becoming a national icon and joining up with the League shortly thereafter. Saibārenjā prides himself as the stoic defender of the weak and downtrodden, and relentlessly fights for the side of good. To him, all life is precious, there is always a chance for redemption, and the end never justifies the means.

As Rebecca Winters, she works as a tech consultant for one of the new companies that have sprung up in New Haven.

Watcher:
Real Name: Patrick Winters
Appearance: Average height and build, short, cropped brown hair. His costume consists of a detective's hat and a simple brown trench coat, with a black mesh mask worn over his face.
Secret Identity Occupation: Stay at home Dad
Place of Residence: New Haven
Mentor Of: Neuron
Data:
Spoiler :
Russell Brabant was one of the best detectives in the New Haven Police Department. He had a knack for pulling info from suspects, even without them saying a word. This was due to the fact that Brabant was, in secret, a telepath, capable of reaching into the minds of others and extracting what he needed. While this power was very useful in his line of work, it was only a matter of time before it would bring him trouble. By accident, he discovered a crooked deal between his partner and a local mob boss. In the course of investigating this, he soon discovered than several members of the force, including the chief of police, were in on it. His investigation prompted an assassination attempt on his life, which was only barely thwarted by Beacon. Knowing he would be unable to continue his investigation, Brabant worked with Beacon to fake his death, taking a new identity as Patrick Winters, while fighting under the mantle of Watcher. Together with Beacon, they were able to uncover the corruption within the police force, leading to a massive operation spearheaded by the FBI. His time with Beacon started off a romance that would eventually lead to their marriage. He now balances his time between assisting his wife on hero duty and managing their three children.

Secret Identity Occupation: Student
Place of Residence: Noel Manor, Lexington
Mentor: American Eagle
Data:
Spoiler :
Kelsey's parents were a corrupt cop and an honest cop, who somehow never figured out the truths about each other. Her honest father was killed in a hit by the consortium that had paid off her mother, and one of American Eagle's first acts was to inform poor Cassie Carter of her role in her beloved husband's death. Riven by guilt, Cassie killed herself before American Eagle could stop her, and nine-year-old Kelsey was put into foster care. Presumably out of guilt, Charlotte Noel adopted her and brought her in on her crime-fighting career as her sidekick and student. Kelsey is skilled in the same areas as her mentor: martial arts, stealth and detective work, though she lacks American Eagle's precision with thrown weapons and is nowhere near Charlotte's equal in combat.

Their combat prowess is unknown to the JLH database at this time, but they have some obvious powers and have fully absorbed Shot in the Dark's philosophy in regards to lethal force. Eventually, they will have to be stopped from continuing their murder spree, but they aren't evil - just misguided and trigger-happy.

Locations:

Spoiler :
Lexington:
Spoiler :
Home city of American Eagle and her sidekick, Mockingbird. Lexington has no relation to the Revolutionary War battle, but it's a city divided among people of many ethnic and cultural backgrounds, making it something of a small-scale version of America in general. Its primary attractions are Noel Manor, Noel Tower, and the Raven District which features museums and theaters full of performances and art based on the League of Heroes.

Constantine City:
Spoiler :
A relatively small port city on the east cast, Constantine has seen a minor boom over the past few years as several new industries move in. A handful of high-rise buildings dot the skyline, but the two dominant features are the towering spires that house the headquarters for the two major local corporations; Zarniwoop Industries' Startouch Spire, and Moonshadow Tower for the Crescent Group. The docks are still home to a handful of criminal gangs, but their influence is negligible and they themselves are weak, struggling to obtain both income and members.

Los Angeles:
Spoiler :
LA is a city with a rich, multicultural heritage, and some of the worst traffic imaginable. It has a history of superhuman controversy, being the site of the massive anti-super riots back in the early 80s that have flared on and off until nearly the present day. There's still lingering anti-super sentiment, and people with honest-to-god powers are rare in the city. Those that do have them tent not to advertise that fact for feat of kicking off another round of riots.

Jiro City:
Spoiler :
This sprawling, technologically-advanced metropolis located in Southern California, is a highly developed city that is the focal point of some of the most advanced technology markets in the world today. It also boasts the largest Asian population in the United States, primarily consisting of Japanese immigrants, and it shows in the very Japanese aesthetic the city has on display. On the surface, Jido City is a prosperous, shining utopia brimming with culture and wealth, but there's an ugly side to this paradise. Underneath the shiny exterior, powerful corporations trade blows in dark alleyways with no thought for innocent bystanders, and vicious Yakuza street gangs fight in the city's grimy underbelly for control of the streets. Notable landmarks include Tachibana Tower, the tallest building on the West Coast, Mejii Stadium, and the Kazan Hospital Complex.

Washington, DC:
Spoiler :
A sizable city on the East Coast, located centrally between the South and the North. Washington has been the home to every US President from Washington himself on to the current nameless faceless persona for this game duly elected American patriot. DC is a city of tourism and politics, and its biggest attractions are usually political or historical sights that have become tourist traps. Examples abound, including the National Mall, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial and Smithsonian Museum.

Richmond:
Spoiler :
The capital of Virginia, Richmond is an old, historical city. Once it served as the capital of the Confederate States of America, but ironically Richmond and to a larger extent Virginia as a whole are now much more northern in temperament than rebellious West Virginia. Districts like the Fan can seem positively idyllic, but there are other places in the city that no one should walk at night. Major attractions include Monument Avenue, Maymont Park and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and that's not counting the Virginia Capitol itself.

New Haven:
Spoiler :
A moderate sized city in the Great Lakes Region, New Haven was once a major industrial hub. However, its fortunes began to decline as many of the big employers in the area began moving overseas. The rise is unemployment saw an increase in crime and poverty, as well as a decline in population as citizens sought work elsewhere. Recently, however, the establishment of several new technology companies in New Haven has signaled a possible resurgence for the laboring city, though any major change is still a long ways off.

Triarch(Terrace) City:
Spoiler :
Once, Terrace City was a beautiful town in the southern United States - a place for artists, dreamers and musicians to come and try their luck, with the nickname "the Cultural Capital of Dixie." But the rise of Steele's gangs and the Whisper's activities in the city led to Shot in the Dark's retaliation, and open warfare looked set to consume Terrace until Kendra James was elected mayor on a campaign of security. What few know is that now the city is ruled by James, really the supervillainess Aquana, in a semi-fascist platform, in alliance with her partners...The Whisper and Steele.

Villains:
Spoiler :
The Depresser:
Real Name: Unknown
Appearance: A young man of average height, dressed all in black with big red down-arrows all over his costume. Gas mask, for no discernible reason.
Secret Identity Occupation: Unknown, potentially medical-based
Place of Residence: Lexington
Rouges Gallery Of: American Eagle
Data:
Spoiler :
Depresser is possessed of one power and one power only: the ability to make someone feel somewhat sad. For reasons that not even American Eagle has yet determined, he seems to believe himself a dangerous supervillain, and has several times appeared in groups of other villains only to be eliminated almost instantly. The League does not consider him a threat, though he has been enough of a disruption to justice in the past that he should be apprehended on sight.

Depresser has been underestimated, and it will not happen again. The man's power is more than simply inducing sadness, he has complete control over hormone levels, from adrenaline to testosterone and on to potentially any other chemical inside his victims' bloodstreams. He is highly intelligent and seems to possess a sadistic streak that makes him a disturbing and dangerous opponent. If he manages to escape, the Junior League is ordered NOT to engage him again without the presence of a full member of the League, under any circumstances.

Now she targets all celebrities in an attempt to 'fix' their romantic problems, whether or not they want them fixed, or even if there is no problem in the first place.

Agent Bruce Williams:
Real Name: Bruce Williams
Appearance: Tall, with huge muscles and small, constantly moving eyes. His very presence is intimidating, especially to those weaker than him...which is basically everyone. Is deeply loyal to the US government.

Place of Residence: Constantine City - Moonshadow Tower when she sleeps in her office, a luxury penthouse downtown otherwise.
Rouges Gallery Of: Spirit
Data:
Spoiler :
The director of Crescent Group, Artemis has no known powers. Instead, she is a genius who shares many of Spirit's concerns about the world. Unfortunately they disagree about the solution, Artemis believing that the only way to change people is by force. Having repeatedly failed to persuade Spirit of this, Artemis has attempted to force her co-operation, seeking to build machines with which to channel Spirits power. Despite this, Spirit continues to believe that Artemis can be redeemed, and, in large part because of Artemis care to avoid harming others, has never taken her in. Disciple is less than optimistic about this course.

Is Spirit's half-sister.

Rocket Angel:
Real Name: Rena Chung
Appearance: A young Korean-American woman, no older than 17, wearing a suit of powered armor with rocket boots and large missile pods over her shoulders.

Rouges Gallery Of: Saibārenjā
Data:
Spoiler :
Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, the Korean-American Chung built her first robot when she was eight years old, and a mere four years later dropped out of school, calling it "a pointless waste of her time". She constructed a special robotic suit of armor and began working as a mercenary, mostly for the major corporations in Jido City. While she may be a pretentious snob and an unrepentant jerk, she's not outright evil, and will even work on the side of good if it suits her, but in the end her only real loyalty is to her paycheck. She has a love-hate relationship with Raija Girl, who is always nice and friendly with her, a fact that drives Chung up the wall.

The Arbiter:
Real Name: UNKNOWN
Appearance: A man in a dark cloak.
Secret Identity Occupation: UNKNOWN
Place of Residence: UNKNOWN
Rouges Gallery Of: The Junior League of Heroes
Data:
Spoiler :
Very little is known about this mysterious villain. He seems to desire to force the world into peace amongst itself, but is willing to go to extremes Artemis will not tolerate. Speaks of a new world order...perhaps there is a connection with other villains there that can fill in some of the blanks? Identifying this man is the Junior League's overall objective at this point in time, but as he has yet to make any substantial aggressive moves, the hunt for him will likely be put on the back burner if more pressing threats arise.

Iznagi Yumi:
Real Name: Iznagi Yumi
Appearance: A tall Asian man, with an accent that subtly switches from place to place as he talks, making him difficult to place among the Asian countries. Tends to dress in "natural" colors like browns and greens.
Secret Identity Occupation: Unknown

Rouges Gallery Of: Saibārenjā

He claims to be on a divine mission to wipe out the corrupting influences of modern technology by any means necessary, starting in Jiro City, the "crucible of wickedness". He sees Saibārenjā, a heartless machine given the undeserved gift of life, as the highest form of evil and has made it his mission to humiliate and destroy the machine man. Izanagi Yumi has a number of fanatical minions willing to die for his cause, and despite his hatred of technology, he has no qualms with them using "the devil's tools" in their mission to wipe the world clean. He is easily the most dangerous enemy that Saibārenjā has faced during his career as a superhero, and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals and purify the human race.

Or, all but one hand, since it turned out Kendra had the ability to speak telepathically with sea life and control water. The Navy milked her abilities for all they were worth in a recruitment drive, but Kendra abandoned a Navy career to go into politics as soon as possible, rising to mayor of Triarch on a platform of curbing supervillainy and gang rule over the city. This made her very popular...but what most people didn't know was that she was secretly the supervillainess Aquana, enraged at the ecological devastation that the "land-dwellers" wreaked on the world and determined to save the oceans from their predations. Shot in the Dark has stopped her before, and now she desires revenge against him before moving on with her plans.

By now, Dale, 28, employs and rules most of New Haven and Triarch City through about a thousand various businesses - he has his hands in almost every industry under the sun.

He's also been convicted twice of stalking, only for the judge to miraculously spare him with a light sentence or a warning. His wife is quiet and clings to his side as if she's terrified of losing him, and many suspect Dale is a domestic abuser - and considering his ties to the large Steele Gang and the amount of black market contacts he regularly does(completely legitimate!) business with, he's on several watch lists as a potential arms dealer and information broker for supervillains and gangs. Spirit has privately suggested he is a paranoiac with bipolar disorder and serious anger management problems, but the man himself is unthreatening to anyone who knows how to fight. His power lies in his wealth, his lawyers, and his minions.

Name: Asuka
Age: Ageless, but mentally around 15.
Alias: Raija Girl
Gender:Female
Description: Asuka is built to closely resemble a regular human girl, though she is primarily made of polymers and metallic compounds that don't disguise the fact that she is a machine upon a close examination. Her straight "hair", made from nonflammable carbon fibers, hangs down to her shoulders and is colored jet black with violently orange highlights, and the high quality lenses in her eyes are a bright shade of green. She is tall for a girl of her mental age with an athletic build, and her usual non-hero wardrobe consists of bright obnoxious colors no matter what she is wearing. At a moment's notice, she can transform from her casual mode into her sleek, Gundam-inspired battle armor, colored white and orange. Her armor is bristling with all sorts of weaponry for fighting at a distance, including lasers, energy blasts, electrical attacks, and even her own limbs, which can detach and fly into enemies to deal damage. She also has built-in jet propulsion that allows her to fly around at ease, in and out of her combat armor.

Mentor:
Spoiler :
Name:Saibārenjā, or "Saibā"
Powers: Super strength, superhuman reflexes, expert swordsman and hand-to-hand fighter.

Hometown: Jido City.

Spoiler :
Name: Izanagi Yumi
Powers: Expert martial artist, deadly marksman with his preferred weapon, the bow. Extremely intelligent, and able to cheat death on multiple occasions.
A mysterious warrior of unknown origin, he entered Jido City shortly after the arrival of Saibārenjā. He claims to be on a divine mission to wipe out the corrupting influences of modern technology by any means necessary, starting in Judo City, the "crucible of wickedness".

Name: Elliot Vance, aka Dr. Contraption:
Powers: Unlimited budget, genius level IQ, gadget aficionado
Formerly the head of the American branch at Tachibana, Elliot Vance was a hotshot up-and-coming businessman who spearheaded the development of Saibārenjā as a company mascot. However, his insistence that the android was nothing more than company property landed him in hot water and he was fired from the company, lost everything, and finally went insane. Using a myriad of wacky inventions and gadgets, the fraudulent doctor proclaims himself as the arch nemesis of Saibārenjā but in practice is more of an obnoxious nuisance to the hero rather than a genuine threat. Save for his involvement in the origin of Raija Girl, of course...

Name: Zhi An Guan, aka Machwave
Powers: Sound wave manipulation, heightened physical abilities
Raised on the mean streets of Hong Kong, Zhi An Guan's life was always a constant fight for survival. Her parents were gone by the time she could walk, and her life was doomed to be a never-ending cycle of poverty and misery. However, her life was changed forever when she hid inside an abandoned chemical plant to escape from the police and fell into a vat of fermenting goo with electricity running through it. She emerged from the vat miraculously unharmed, but with a brand new set of superpowers to play with. Local crime bosses took note of the new and improved Zhi An when she destroyed a city street in her next escape attempt, and she was offered the chance to work as a mob enforcer. Thus began her life in organized crime, and after distinguishing herself in the Chinese Triads, she left to work with a more powerful Yakuza gang, and traveled to Jido City to set up a new base of operations there. A hardened, ruthless gangster spearheading the boldest Yakuza operations in Jido City, few have crossed her and lived to tell the tale.

Name: Gunmetal Garret
Powers: Fastest gun in the West, incredibly strong and extremely tough.
With the arrival of Saibārenjā on the scene, American tech corporations felt the need to get in on the game by attempting to make superhero robots of their own. Nearly all of them were miserable failures, but the one that came the closest was Gunmetal Garret. As a counterpoint to the Japanese-styled Saibārenjā, Garret was built to resemble a typical American cowboy in terms of ability and personality. Much like the designers of Saibārenjā, the programmers of Garret did their job a little too well, and at the gala where he was introduced to the world, Garret made his big entrance by holding up the place and robbing everyone blind. Garret has been on the run ever since, robbing banks and trains in typical outlaw fashion and irritating everyone with his stereotypical cowboy talk.

Name: Rena Chung aka Rocket Angel
Powers: Possesses a robotic suit capable of flight, super strength, and equipped with a variety of missiles.

-Snatch and Grab: Raija can send her rocket fist to grab something that is far out of reach and bring it back to her quickly. Quite useful for hitting switches and pulling weapons out of the bad guy's hands.

Biography:
Spoiler :
It was just another day in Jido City, and Saibārenjā was visiting the sick children at Kazan Hospital when he heard from the news that Dr. Contraption was wandering around the Southern commercial district trying out some of his new gizmos on passersby. Despite the assurances that the police could handle him, Saibārenjā said he would deal with the issue personally and flew off to confront him. When he arrived, the disgraced CEO greeted the hero warmly, stating that he had a special surprise to share with the hero. With a flourish, he pressed a big red button on his wristband, and Saibārenjā braced himself for yet another zany confrontation with the Doctor.

And then something slammed into him with the force of a freight train and exploded, propelling him two blocks down the road and into a storefront. Dr. Contraption laughed with glee as Saibārenjā dug out of the wreckage to see his opponent. To his surprise, it appeared to be a young girl, dressed entirely in black and hovering a few inches off the ground. With a pang, he realized that the girl was not human, but an android like himself. He didn't have much time to ponder this as the girl flew at him for a second attack, swiftly dodging the swing of his blade and launching him further down the road with an energy blast.

Thus the battle commenced. The brawl was vicious and destructive, and Saibārenjā fought with all his might, but he couldn't get an opening on his unknown opponent. It was almost as if she was designed to counter his every move, but that couldn't be possible, could it? While he was thinking of this, Saibārenjā let his guard down as he defended a group of bystanders from falling rubble, giving his enemy the opening she needed. Charging in at blinding speeds, she sent a rocket powered fist into Saibārenjā's chest, nearly tearing the hero in two. Incapacitated by the vicious blow, Saibārenjā lay helpless on the broken street as his mysterious enemy prepared for the killing blow. But as she charged her weapons, the android girl suddenly froze, the malice in her eyes replaced with blank shock. The smell of burning electronics filled the air as the girl began twitching violently, spurts of electrokinetic fluid starting to leak from her head, before she finally collapsed in a heap. With the last of his strength, Saibārenjā got to his feet unsteadily and took the mysterious android back to the Tachibana labs with him.

The technicians at the lab were able to repair Saibārenjā to full health without issue, but they were utterly baffled at the origins of the other android. She was based heavily on Saibārenjā's build, but appeared to be built specifically to counter Saibārenjā in combat. Her android brain, based on the evidence that could be collected, was far more advanced than anything the Tachibana corporation had ever see. Saibārenjā had barely even damaged the hostile android in the fight, and the lab techs confirmed that he only won because the AI was too advanced for even the superior hardware to handle, and it burned itself out during the intense fight. The only thing the lab techs were certain about was that Dr. Contraption, who fled the scene during the fight, had no part in creating the android, and it was likely that he stole the android or it was given to him by a third party, and the doctor has since said nothing to address the theory.

City officials demanded that the mysterious android be destroyed, and even Saibārenjā agreed that they had a good argument for dismantling the deadly machine. Tachibana had a different solution; rebuild the android's brain and replace the missing parts with aspects of Saibārenjā's android mind and some of the programming that the company had in storage for a second hero before Saibārenjā became self-aware. Saibārenjā agreed to the plan, on the condition that he would be in charge of mentoring the android if the process went through without a hitch. If a new android was going to be born into this world, Saibārenjā reasoned, he wanted her to be born free, and not have to fight for it like he did. A lab technician asked him what they should name the android, and Saibārenjā suggested the name Asuka, the name of one of the technicians who worked on his creation.

The android Asuka was "born" several months later, complete with a spunky goofball personality and the mental maturity of a teenage girl, much to the chagrin of the stoic and mature Saibārenjā. Still, the new android seemed to have inherited her elder's sense of morality, and when asked if she wanted to be a crime fighter, she was more than eager to start. Jino City got their first look at the newly reborn android when she and Saibārenjā foiled a bank robbery perpetrated by Gunmetal Garret. When Asuka zoomed by and pelted the bandit with a lightning attack, one of the younger bystanders watching the fight loudly asked if she was Raijan, the Japanese thunder god. She liked the name so much that she tweaked it for her own superhero name, and Raija Girl was born.

Saibārenjā and Raija Girl have been fighting crime together ever since their first outing against the wily Gunmetal. Despite her dubious origin, Raija Girl has been an incredibly popular superhero among her peers and the public alike, owing mostly to her natural charm and her kind and bubbly attitude. She's even considered a celebrity in her home town, and given her Japanese-friendly redesign, she is of course incredibly popular overseas in Japan. She doesn't let her pseudo-celebrity status get to her head however, as she, like her mentor Saibārenjā, ultimately believes in fighting for good and doing what is right. She still loves to meet her fans though and will often get involved in charity work when she isn't fighting crime. When the concept of a youth League was announced, Raija Girl was one of the first people to volunteer despite the fact that she was technically ageless. After all, as much as she cared for and respected her mentor, she'd have to start fighting crime without him some day. Not that anything bad would happen to him in the first place....right?

Biography:
Spoiler :
The only child of prominent Irish politician and the CEO of a small but growing tech firm, Tracey was blessed with a gifted intellect from the start but seemed destined for a completely normal life, far from the wild life of a superhero. However, her life was changed forever on her ninth birthday, when her mother and father decided to go for a day trip to celebrate, unaware that a political rival of her mother had planted a bomb in the car. The explosion killed both of her parents instantly, and Tracey was thrown from the car and landed hard on a piece of debris, breaking her spine and leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. For a normal girl, such a tragedy would have spelled the end of a long and promising life. But Tracey was no ordinary girl.

Just a few years later, the brilliant Tracey Taggart had orchestrated two impossible tasks. First she became the new owner of her father's company, despite her young age, with the help of some legal loophole exploiting. With the help of Taggart Electronics resources, Tracey reinvented the power source commonly used in humanoid robots, making them lighter, stronger, and eventually making the creation of androids like Saibarenja and Raija Girl possible. Things were looking up for Tracey, until a chance meeting between the teenaged CEO of a fast-growing tech company and the American billionaire Charlotte Marie Noel changed her life once again. Charlotte, secretly the superhero American Eagle, was fighting against a corrupt politician at the time, the same one who planted the bomb that killed the elder Taggarts, and asked Tracey for her help fighting him. With Tracey's support, American Eagle was able to bring the murderer of Tracey's parents to justice, and the two have been friends ever since, with Tracey providing field support for some of Eagle's more complicated escapades.

Since then, Taggart Electronics is strong as ever, although not quite as strong as Tachibana and the other American industries, and Tracey, while still eager to help out her friend and pseudo-mentor, has been working on a special project known as Overclock. And when American Eagle requests her help with a situation over the pond, this may just be the opportune time to give it a field test...

Slithering out of his restraints, he called upon the forest itself to help him rid it of the loggers, and the trees came to life and smashed the vehicles while vines strangled the loggers. Deciding that humanity was a plague that would destroy everything it came into contact with, he sought to drive the species into extinction, for- in his opinion- the good of the planet.

Description: Peter's older cousin, the two of them were never the closest of individuals; until, that is, Peter told his family about his powers. They were all taken aback, but none more so that Grosvenor, who refused to believe that his kid cousin had powers. Convinced it was an elaborate prank, he followed Peter, and could not believe his eyes when he saw him meet up with Sovereign Eagleson and go on patrol. He tailed them for the rest of the night, and when a mook- having successfully snuck up on Bunnyman- was about to land a fatal blow, he pulled out his trusty rifle and took down the poor man with a shot to the knee. Sovereign revealed that he had known the boy was there the whole time but wanted to see if he was worth training, and Grosvenor's actions had proven he was. Grosvenor was dubbed Scout, and took to the military training Sovereign was attempting to teach far better than Bunnyman did. Scout & Bunnyman soon formed the core of a new team of young superheroes Sovereign was trying to form, called the Junior Justice Squad, consisting of themselves, Igneous, Polkageist, & Sir Pants-a-lot, but the team broke up due to personal difficulties soon after formation and Scout retired from heroics. It was a close match, but Daniel bested the vile creature, and became the champion of Germany in America, Baroque Buschmann. Sadly, his heroics did not last long, as he fell to an outbreak of Diphtheria not six months after getting his powers. His deal with the demon had cursed him, however, and his soul was bound to the site of the his death until Sovereign, Bunnyman, & Scout fought a branch of the Eagle Legion tampering with the occult that just happened to be holed up in the area he was haunting. The Legionnaire in charge of the operation tried a last-ditch spell against the 3 heroes, but Sovereign gave the man an impromptu colonoscopy with his Talons before he could finish his spell, and so accidently freed Daniel's spirit. He was still trapped in this world, however, and decided to join the Junior Justice Squad while the League of Heroes conducted research on methods that would allow him to leave this world for the next. He started haunting the old headquarters of the Junior Justice Squad after the team broke up, where he remains to this day.

Biography:
Spoiler :
Born to a normal Virginia family, Peter Lagos lived a fairly average life. He got decent grades, stayed rather fit, and was wise enough to know when to walk away. His foray into super heroics happened purely by chance; Polecat was on a rampage in his hometown when she grabbed him and started using him as a human shield. He tried to fight her off, and she responded by gassing him with a paralytic toxin. Unable to do anything and fearing for his life, he could not help but be angry at the injustice of it all. He had never done anything wrong, and had in fact donated both time and money to charity in the past; why has this happening to him? He was filled with a desire to right the wrongs of the world- but more importantly, with an undeniable urge to lodge his size 12 feet in some supervillian rectums. The toxins were immediately purged from his body, and Peter grew ears & a cotton tail, being reborn as Bunnyman. Polecat facepalmed, for she knew what was happening, and, not wanting to fight a super and the police at the same time, decided to get out while the getting was good. She released Peter, who just stood there, very confused and not knowing at all what had happened.

It was at that moment that SOVEREIGN EAGLESON landed next to the mystified lagomorph. He had seen others go through what he did, and was determined to ensure that Bunnyman would not embrace evil as Polecat did- or worse, bring terror and suffering but think himself a hero as Night Owl did. He took the large-footed lad under his wing and began training him as a hero. It took some time, and a lot of failures, but eventually Peter Lagos was transformed from the most average person ever into a lean, mean, crime-fighting, foot-lodging machine. Sovereign tried to form a team of young superheroes when Peter's cousin discovered the two of them on patrol, but ultimately failed and returned to his duties at the League of Heroes.

Now, other Leaguers are looking into forming their own team of minor heroes- and, naturally, Bunnyman was one of their first picks.

*Don't forget about the Robot head

Name: Arthur Blackspire
Alias: Disciple
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Appearance: A delicately-built young man with blond hair and icy blue eyes. Disciples costume is primarily red, with white lines emblazoned upon his arms and upper chest that clearly distinguish it from that of his mentor. His red mask similarly covers his upper face, although it lacks any ornamentation. His right hand now sports a silvery metallic sheen, and the plain black glove he wears to cover it looks distinctly out of place on his costume.
Hometown: Constantine City - A relatively small port city on the east cast, Constantine has seen a minor boom over the past few years as several new industries move in.
Spoiler History :
Arthur arrived at the Angel Orphanage in Constantine City in the early days of his life, with neither memories nor documentation of his parents. He would spend his early years there, in a small building nestled between the crime-ravaged dockyards and the stagnating inner city. It was hardly the most comfortable place to raise a child, but the handful of care workers and their charges made the most of it, laughing and playing together enough that the lack of biological family never bothered the young boy.

When Arthur was seven, the city began to change. The completion of Startouch Spire in the city center was the first sign of improvement, but far more popular a topic was the story of 'Spirit'. A superhuman with healing abilities, Spirit was said to aid and comfort those in need, guided by some sense that nobody could determine. At first little more than a rumour, Spirit and her quest to 'spread love' became rapidly more well known, until a group of thugs headed out to seize her and use their powers for themselves. When they fell upon her in the street, Spirit surprised everyone by calling forth a shield of glowing pink power to protect herself from the assault, enduring until her attackers collapsed in despair for the police to take away.

Even as news spread of Spirit's other power, Superhumans continued to make their presence known throughout Constantine City. The first true supervillain to make an appearance went by 'Thunderstorm', ascending the half-built Moonshadow Tower to place his brand new weather-control device at the top. As the authorities struggled to come up with an answer to the crisis, the cry for a hero went out, people looking to one of the renowned superhumans of the nation for aid. Instead, red costume glowing in the morning light, Spirit took to the skies herself.

With Thunderstorm cast down, other supervillains would appear. Ultionem and his robot minions fought Spirit on multiple occasions, and evidence was found several times of fights around both the great skyscrapers with eyewitnesses insisting Spirit had been there. But all things considered, these were but minor road-bumps as the city progressed ever further. Facing a local superhero and a recovering economy, crime fell, and people everywhere felt certain that times would continue to improve, even the orphanage found itself beginning to lose children as adopters became ever more frequent.

A curious young boy, Arthur spent time outside the Orphanage often, ranging ever further afield as he aged. When he was nine, one of his little jaunts took him into the docks, and it was there that the first odd thing happened to him. Ducking away to hide from a group of armed men, the boy found himself trapped in the middle of a shoot-out between the remnants of the old docks gangs. However, even as gunshots and shouts continued to sound around his hiding place, an odd sense of calm descended upon Arthur, quieting his fear. When he finally inched out of his hiding place, he found a single figure standing there, smiling warmly at him, and holding out a hand to lead him away from where the remaining gangsters were collapsed, despairing, on the ground. Spirit.

The encounter with Spirit still playing on his mind, Arthur returned to the orphanage. It seemed strange to think that he had been saved by a superhuman, something he almost struggled to believe. It might have been that feeling that kept him from mentioning it to the others, or maybe he just didn't want them worrying for him, trying to keep him safe by restricting his roaming freedoms. Whatever the reasons for keeping it secret, they did not bother him, for soon after he found himself in the process of being adopted.

His new 'parent' was a woman named Fiona Blackspire, and she wore the same warm smile Arthur remembered from his meeting with Spirit. Spending his time in her company, noting the way she would disappear and how her very presence seemed to uplift those around her, it was not hard to connect the dots. The woman he referred to as 'Aunt Fiona' was none other than Spirit herself. At first he considered trying to keep from her that he knew, but hiding things from an empath is not the easiest course. The little smile on her face whenever they spoke on the hero was enough, and soon he realised that the knowledge was no secret to her. It seemed not to bother her that he knew, and aside from a few talks about keeping it secret, her status was surprisingly irrelevant within the household.

They lived like that for three years; Arthur coping with Spirits occasional disappearances, and she always finding some way to make it up to him for missing dinner or not collecting him from school. It would change though. One shopping trip saw Arthur caught in the mall as Spirit battled with a seemingly-out-of-control robot. Immune to the majority of her powers, the machine seemed on the verge of victory as it pummelled against her shields. The sight stirred something in Arthur; surely there had to be a way he could help, something he could do to keep his 'aunt' from her seemingly-inevitable fate. As the overwhelming desire to protect his only family surged through him, Arthur let loose a powerful blast, a glowing orange oval that hurled the robot from its feet.

Pressing this sudden advantage, Spirit finished the fight quickly. The conversation upon returning home was interesting to say the least, but ultimately they concluded Arthur had obtained powers much the same as Spirit's own. Although reluctant to allow a child so young to assist with her own work, Spirit was forced to admit that he would be safer working with her than trying to act alone, and so accepted his request to become something of a sidekick. Taking up the alias 'Disciple', Arthur set to work learning his abilities.

Power, Spirit taught him, came from emotions, and the mental state of the wielder. Flight from joy, healing from compassion, there were many mindsets that, once internalised, would bring power. It was not simple training. Although Spirit could help him to obtain an emotional state, that was not enough to draw power from it. It had to become a mindset, part of who he was, something he could lapse into at will. Healing was the first mindset she showed him, claiming compassion was a requirement before she would teach him the other powers. It was the heart of a Hero.

Flight was the next, letting the joy of life and living flood through him almost as if it had a mind of his own. But the emotion Spirit called 'love', that was harder. It was not, she told him, the love of a parent or a child, not of a husband or a wife, nor even that of a friend. 'Love' had no object, no single being to be felt towards, applying instead to everyone, everything. Disciple did not feel it. When Spirit drew it forth in him with her powers, it simply crumpled away out of his reach. Even as a year passed, still he was only able to touch faintly at the edges of the power, a glimpse here and there of the thing Spirit felt every waking moment. Meditation helped, sometimes, but in the end they agreed they were getting nowhere.

It was then that Spirit suggested the League of Heroes. There was no reason, really, why he could not learn from examples other than her, a series of individuals who each embodied different elements of love. Besides, it would be good for him to interact with others who shared the burden of powers and all the associated secrets, to see the different viewpoints and uses that came with them. The other heroes would be there to protect him after all, what could possibly go wrong?

Feats:
The Wise One: Being repeatedly pushed to his limits has forced Disciple to think faster and heightened his emotional response to these situations.
Beyond Human: An obnoxious friend to all living things, Disciples ability to empathise with others is truly beyond human.
Charismatic Charmer: With his growing understanding of and ability to manipulate emotions, Disciple grows ever more capable of bonding with others.
Up, Up, and Away: The 'joy of flight' is usually joy from flight, but in Disciples case, it is flight from joy.
Medical Master: Without compassion for others, one cannot be a hero. It is both the drive to heal, and the means to do so.
Phlebotinum Projectile: Black beams of pure rage aren't Disciples usual style, but you work with what you've got. Or What you manifest over long periods of time and get suddenly presented with a target for.
Phlebotinum Barrier: The instinct to self-preservation is normal; but it is the drive to protect others that brings out the best in people.
Significant Sense: Sensing the emotions of others is difficult, and they come to Disciple only on rare occasions.
Special: Emotional Manipulation: Guided by his love of other people, Disciple's ability to sense their emotions has expanded massively.
Special: Emotion Bomb: Although Disciple prefers to use his powers subtly, he can opt to simply overwhelm a person with emotion to keep them docile for a short period.

Spoiler Significant Figures :
Mentor: Spirit - Having moved to Constantine City from Ireland to study at the university, Fiona Blackspire is the alter-ego of the superhuman known as Spirit.

Rouge: Artemis Fletcher - The director of Crescent Group, Artemis has no known powers.

Rouge: Ultionem/Zaphod Zarniwoop - known in costume as Ultionem, Zaphod is a scientist specialising in robotics and biology. He has used these skills to build a cutting edge business, but his alter-ego uses his vast fortune and skills to indulge in his true interest: superhumans. Ultionem has repeatedly attempted to study superhumans through acts of supervillainy, trying to determine the origin of their powers and how the effect might be replicated. His various personal battle armours have proven useless against Spirits mental attacks on several occasions, and he now fights her primarily through use of his robot minions. Zarniwoop has been known to provide technological assistance to other villains, but is widely believed to be working on some grand project. Exactly what this is is unknown, with rumours ranging from human cloning to inter-dimensional travel.

Level: 5
XP: 2450
HP: 193
Mentor: Gordon Howard AKA Seraph
Powers: Luck manipulation, biological manipulation
Bio:

Hometown: Area 68, experimental laboratory hidden in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Rogues Gallery:
Steven Kirisato - A Harvard graduate and the head of the US government's research and development branch in Area 68. Widely regarded as a genius he was tasked with creating a weapon that would be able to be used by the government to reign in superhumans. He views superpowers as an inherently destabilizing force as they elevate a few humans above others and fears that they will lead to the creation of a totalitarian society ruled by a superhuman elite. Dangerously intelligent and well mannered he often presents himself like a gentleman of older times. He has been tasked with hunting down his escaped experiment.

Bruce Williams - At the peak of physical condition Bruce Williams presents an intimidating figure with his large build and watchful eyes. Serving in special forces he has gained a vast wealth of experience fighting and has many contacts within the military. He was assigned to Kirisato when the virus escaped and is in charge of assisting with tracking down and either recapturing or eliminating her. He only fights through mundane means but is still a highly dangerous opponent as he refuses to fight on the terms of superhumans and will use any means within his operation parameters to take down his opponent. Is deeply loyal to the US government.

(-3 penalty against the Avalon Antivirus)

Biography:
Spoiler :
Created by Steven Kirisato in the secret government facility of Area 68 the virus, named the Kirisato Virus, was created as a way for the government to be able to reign in superhumans. It was designed to be able to assimilate any biological material it came into contact with in order to be very difficult to kill and be able to greatly alter that material so that it would be able to go toe to toe with superhumans. The virus was constantly experimented on, testing the limits of its ability to assimilate other cells until it gained sentience. Once it was discovered that the virus was displaying sentient properties Kirisato was forced to shut down the experiment by his superiors and was ordered to exterminate the virus. But the virus had already built a slight resistance to the Avalon antivirus and was able to withstand the treatment and escape the facility.

Once escaped the virus fled the facility and didn't stop moving as it took the vague form of a conglomeration of creatures and moved through the California countryside often creating rumors of a paranormal beast when it was spotted by farmers. Feeding on the wildlife as the virus entered areas with more humans it altered its form to be that of a human as well to better camouflage itself in the new environment. As it moved through the cities it stuck to dark alleys and preyed on dogs, cats, and the occasional dead human that has been left lying in an alley.

It was during one of these rare human meals that the virus was found by Gordon Howard, after trying and failing to scare him off by changing form it attempted to subdue him in order to avoid discovery. However, Gordon was able to easily avoid the virus until it fell into a river and almost drowned. Gordon managed to save it and, using his biological manipulation, healed the damage caused to the virus. Baffled by the man's actions the virus began to follow him around, Gordon meanwhile was intrigued by the new life form and decided to take it under his wing.

Gaining the name Kerri she began to learn about human society and how to survive within it, or at least on the outskirts of it. She began to help Gordon deal with criminals and most people assumed that she was his daughter or a relative. Gordon eventually decided that as a test of how far Kerri has come in terms of dealing with humans that she should join the League's youth organization so that she would be interacting with humans other than himself more often. While Kerri has made admirable progress at disguising herself as a human she still does not completely understand many parts of dealing with others, living on the streets with Gordon has also left her unprepared for dealing with a completely different life style.

Sovereign Eagle, Bunnyman, Seraph, Quarantine, The Shipper and Bruce Williams all added to the character list. I'll probably flip through the lists a bit more later and add more villains and side heroes. If I've made any glaring errors with my formatting of the characters, let me know the corrections I need to make.

Awaiting Lec and Dem's characters. Tis possible I might mission at 4 or 5 tonight EST if I've got at least 4 players ready to go by then.

Only thing I see is that Kerri's standard form appears to be 11~13 years of age.

Also won't be able to make a mission today. Sorry

Name: Erwin Warren
Age: 11
Alias: Kinetic Kitten
Gender: Male
Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia
Description: Erwin has shoulder-length wavy blonde hair and pale green eyes. He is of an average height, though in regards to weight he is quite slender. While out on heroics he wears a light brown hood with cat ears on it. The rest of his costume is a similar light brown, with a mix of black and amber stripes throughout. His gloves, made in such a way as to make his fingers look like the claws of a cat when not closed in a fist, and a fluffy tail are the last pieces of his costume. Normally during his time out he paints fake whiskers on his face, which he frequently forgets to remove.

Level: 5
XP: 6000
HP: 71

Mentor Name: Albert Warren
Mentor Alias: Inertia
Mentor Powers: Strength and paralyzation
Mentor Description: Inertia is a large, heavy-set, man in a black and white costume and the uncle to one Erwin Warren. According to him, he has had a long career with the League of Heroes where his powers of paralyzation and slowing have stopped the retreat of many villains he was fighting. He briefly retired from the whole thing a few years ago, but at the urging of his nephew he decided to come back long to see Erwin through his first few years.

  • DEX: 10
  • REF: 10
  • VIT: 5
  • CON: 2
  • INT: 6

Feats:
  • Nine Lives: HP is reduced by 9. When Erwin is reduced to 0 HP, there is a chance for him to recover and stay at 1 HP. Usuable 8 times over the course of the AC. (8 Uses Remaining)
  • In a Flash: If there is one thing Erwin has for him, it is speed.
  • Man's Best Sidekick: Jasper the American Shorthair cat. Has sharper than average claws and teeth and is trained to fight with Kinetic Kitten. Other than that, pretty average. Wears a little cape.
    • Training from Feline Hell: Maybe that is an exaggeration. But training from a kid in his backyard doesn't quite sound as nice.
    • Worthy Opponent: Jasper has probably earned quite a name for himself among the villains fought so far.
    • Worst Nightmare: I don't think I need to add anything here.

Biography: Three things consisted of the entirety of the young Erwin Warren's free time. Playing Little League soccer with his friends, having fun with his cats in his backyard, and listening to his uncle Albert's stories of his time as a superhero. He would sit in his uncle's lap, petting the peacefully sleeping Jasper, while laughing at his uncle's amusing tale of the time one of his allies tripped over his own two feet and managed to pin the minor villain they were chasing in the fall. These storytimes were the primary source of the immense respect Erwin had for Albert. He wanted to follow in his uncle's footsteps and made that fact known to him on several occasions. He would attempt to train himself and, against the animal's probable wishes, his cat Jasper in his backyard. These juvenile attempts at training weren't quite what was needed to become a member of the League of Heroes, though with that dedication, and much pestering, he managed to convince Albert to take him under his wing. After a few months with Albert's guidance and assistance, Erwin and his uncle were ready to go to the League of Heroes. One to join, and the other to rejoin.

Biography: Short version - born in the slums but had a knack for fighting and running; caught the eye of a bullfighter one day, who offered him the chance to make a living and a name for himself; fought in the bull ring at 13, until 15, when he left after a near-fatal fight leaving him permanently scarred. The Junior League of Heroes has been formed!

Disciple: 450XP
Quarantine: 450XP
Bunnyman: 450XP
Kinetic Kitten: 450XP
Raija Girl: 450XP

Mockingbird was kidnapped by the Shipper, and American Eagle and the other mentors thought it was a great opportunity to give their sidekicks a chance to show their skills as a team. Everything went smoothly thanks to the real hero: Jasper the cat, who heavily wounded the Shipper and one-hit-KO'd the Depresser with a flying leap. Despite a few hitches from the whims of the RNG, the mission was a success, and Kelsey(Mockingbird) spent the post-mission RP time taking the group out to eat Chinese as thanks, and then taking pictures of the group together to mark the formation of the Junior League.

Next mission probably Thursday night unless people are free tonight or Tuesday, and since sleep would be good for people tonight and Patchy's got Tuesday, I doubt it. I am available for RP missions at any reasonable time over the next week except Wednesday.

Character lists updated with all current mentors and PCs. SAM FINISH YOUR CHARACTER RAAAA

The Junior League of Heroes has completed its second mission!

Disciple: 550XP(Level Up! HP+10)
Quarantine: 550XP(Level Up! HP+12)
Kinetic Kitten: 550XP(Level Up! HP+10)
Raija Girl: 550XP(Level Up! HP+10)
Bunnyman: 450XP
Mockingbird: Level Up!

New characters now start with 500XP.

The Mentors briefed the team on a new villain, calling himself "The Arbiter" and tasked them with finding out who he is. The only lead Saiba and Spirit possessed was that his motive for villainy was attempting to force the world's population into changing their ways and turning good, instead of guiding with LOVE. This sounded familiar to Spirit and Disciple, and so the team traveled to Constantine City to meet with Artemis Fletcher, the director of the famous Crescent Group company.

She was more than forthcoming about Arbiter, and confirmed that he did indeed attempt to talk her into joining whatever his plan was, but she balked when he started casually discussing plans that involved heavy collateral damage. Arbiter's response was to destroy all of her robots that she turned on him in an effort to protect herself, then escape. Artemis was on the verge of saying more when a rocket struck the penthouse and blasted her out into open air...and throwing Disciple and Mockingbird into an, ahem, compromising position.

Quick work from Raija Girl and Quarantine saved Artemis, and the rocket turned out to have come from none other than Rocket Angel, who demonstrated a paralysis weapon on Disciple while she blasted at Raija with rockets. A concerted effort from Quarantine, Kinetic Kitten and Jasper managed to defeat her, despite Depresser appearing halfway through the fight, only to spout one line and be instantly KO'd by Mockingbird.

After the battle, Artemis lamented the damage to her office and mentioned that Arbiter spoke about some kind of new world order that he sought to impose. She warned the team to be careful before they left her to figure out how she would pay for repairing her building.

Upon return to Lexington, the team reported in, then had a nice afternoon out as friends eating pizza and watching Rise of the Scarlet Hand, the new blockbuster superhero movie, during which Kelsey annoyed the entire theater by fangirling over Maynard's death. After some tsundere interactions between her and Disciple, the group returned to their mentors and hit the road for home.

This mission was impromptu, as Dem steamed me that there happened to be players in chat at 5. I'm still not planning the next one until Thursday evening, since Patchy's running tonight and tomorrow is my girlfriend night. If things change, I'll let you know.

The mission format is going to change a little bit over the next few missions, as I want to spend some time individually in each of the characters' cities handling local issues in cooperation with the individual mentors. Anyone who is interested in giving me ideas about a mission or two set in their hometown, feel free to Steam, PM or chat me about them. I'll come up with my own if necessary, but it would spare me some busywork if I like your suggestions. And if I don't, I'll just ignore them and run my idea anyway :goodjob:

Just a note, especially this week but also in general, unless you contact me via Steam or other methods, there's no way I'll know there's a mission. Twould be appreciated :)

Description: Average height, athletic build, long blond hair. Her costume consists of a blue suit and face mask, with yellow rays emanating from a white spire in the center.
Biography: Possessing the powers of light and hard light manipulation, Beacon has been a driving force for good, as well as somewhat of a celebrity, in the city of New Haven. Name: Patrick Winters
Alias: Watcher
Description: Average height and build, short, cropped brown hair. His costume consists of a detective's hat and a simple brown trench coat, with a black mesh mask worn over his face.
Biography: Russell Brabant was one of the best detectives in the New Haven Police Department.
Hometown:
Spoiler :
New Haven: A moderate sized city in the Great Lakes Region, New Haven was once a major industrial hub.

Name: N/A

It is partially insubstantial, and possesses shape shifting capabilities. In addition, it can shift into a 2-dimensional form, moving along walls and ceilings. In an effort to sustain the company, Delvon International began researching and developing a new, secretive compound, with the potential of military applications. However, the corporation, in an effort to make deadlines, rushed the project, cutting crucial corners. This negligence lead to a disastrous accident, which claimed the lives of dozens of factory workers, while maiming many others. Joseph MacIntyre had the misfortune of being the only one spayed with the compound who survived long enough to be taken to the hospital. When he came to, he discovered that the compound had converted large parts of his body to a strange, silvery substance. This substance granted him great strength, in addition to it being highly corrosive to most metals, save silver. The downside is that the substance is slowly spreading throughout his body, cutting his expected lifespan drastically. Arming himself with a large, silver hammer, Joseph MacIntyre took the moniker John Henry, and began a crusade to hunt down and punish all those responsible for the incident.

Name: Professor Issac Quinton
Alias: N/A

When the NHPD and FBI attempted to arrest him, Quinton elected to instead activate and overload the device, resulting in a massive explosion that destroyed itself, Quinton, and much of his research. Years later, after Brabant had became the hero Watcher, a series of strange occurrences lead him to a disturbing discovery; Quinton has not perished in the blast as previously thought. Though his body has been destroyed, his mind and consciousness were preserved, transformed into a state of pure energy. Worse yet, he had developed a frightening new power; Quinton could now enter into and take control of people's minds. Emboldened by this new ability, Quinton now seeks to transform himself into a godlike being, through any means necessary.

Elizabeth also helps looks after the Winters children from time to time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Police Chief Isabella Suarez
Background: A former colleague of Russell Brabant, Isabella Suarez rose to take the reins of the New Haven Police Department after Beacon and Watcher helped the FBI purge its ranks. Under her guidance, the NHPD underwent major reforms, bringing back a sense of credibility and respectability to the men and women in blue. A combination of strict discipline and community outreach has ensured that the NHPD remains a positive force within the city. In addition, Isabella tenure has seen the establishment of the Superhuman Enforcement Squad, a highly trained team of agents dedicated to fighting superpowered threats to New Haven alongside Beacon, Watcher, and the League. She has taken a particular interest in Watcher, saying that he "reminds her of her old friend."

Mockingbird: Level Up!

The Junior League joined with Seraph to observe an anti-super demonstration in Los Angeles, and almost immediately Mockingbird and Disciple noticed the Zarniwoop Industries logo on a podium in front of the crowd. Sure enough, Zaphod Zarniwoop came out to speak, and after a rousing speech against supers and in favor of America, the podium blew up and the crowd started to flee as a strange superpowered individual began attacking indiscriminately.

The team moved in to protect Zarniwoop and the civilians, only for the businessman to summon a suit of powered armor and join the battle with gusto. The superhuman, who went by the name of Plague, was unable to stand against the Junior League, Seraph and Zarniwoop, although she managed to throw Mockingbird into the path of Zarniwoop's energy blasts repeatedly.

After her defeat, Zarniwoop attempted to convince members of the team to come be studied on the basis of their powers, and dodged a question from Raija Girl about "the weird glowy thing" that his armor's hand did when he touched Seraph's shoulder in the fight. He then told Raija to come and find him whenever she became curious about her origins and flew away.

RP mission tonight at 5ish EST. I've got some book work I need to do today, so that takes priority - however, it should all be done well before then. Next full mission Thursday at the usual time.
