Provide a save, and I'll believe.

Ok well HC didn't even want to rumble with me! He just wanted to get in on the pimp slapping of Izzy.

Fail that GLib and your economy will be saved, getting GLib would ruin you. It is your only source of income. Did you intend to grab it or fail it? Lil' more exploration wouldn't hurt. You also had ''luck'' of Inca getting Colossus, so now their Fin trait adds gold even on ocean tiles. Did you take any technology from Izzy before killing her? Well, you should have.

Kill/enslave Inca and game is won.

I must say I am surprised you didn't go after supermedic, but went for supersoldier. I actually never create them. Rather settle them in production cities. I see he got a lot of experience so I guess he was performing really well. I might consider making few in the future.

Final verdict: Winnable but not won! There are just too many things that can still go wrong, and your economy is still not stable. Now that I have finally seen some of your games, I finally believe you have enough to win on deity. You troll so much that I wasn't sure.

I actually can't complete the GLib no matter how hard I try as I think HC has Lit, if he doesn't he will be getting it soon enough for gold. I already made peace with Izzy once for a butt load of techs, I would have done it again if HC didn't want in on it. I would have got everything I needed from her, but I wanted the Hindu holy city as it has the shrine.

The Incas are done after I get to Eng, or I could probably win Lib for Steel or Chem then take them out. The later is probably a bit safer, but not as fun.

Now about the supermedic, I usually make them but I already had a medic 2 prat, AND I had settled my first GG in the capital I think (it might have been one of my 2 cities that are going to be bonkers production later though, HE or GT city) for CR2 Prats. So I didn't really need a supermedic as much as I wanted a nutcracker. He did a lot of work, he won a tough fight against a shock axe on a hill that allowed me to take the Hindi holy land.

But the game is very easily winnable after I spread around Christianity to make it so I have 2 strong shrines, and back fill a good 4-5 cities. If I get a little sketchy on the economy I will civic switch cheese once or twice until I have money from the AI to proceed. But I would say the game is in the bag for me personally, I thought it was going to be much easier when I only saw a portion of HCs units although it is still not that scary compared to what I will be showing him.

Now I am hurt to hear you say that you thought I didn't have enough to win on deity! Although I will admit that I love to tell newer players to do higher level strategies that they have no clue how to do, or just telling them the simple answer to winning on anything bellow Emp. x]

I don't think you can in any way pull Lib-->Steel/Chem. HC is a tech monster and is monstering up. Kill him with trebs, that's safer route+plus all those praets will not eat your money without being useful.

Hey, I only believe what I see. And I never saw a single game on deity from you. Now I see and now I know the truth. No need to be hurt.

I agree Libing Steel or Chem would be tough, it is 100% doable after I hit 25+ cities from taking the nice juicy ones HC has though.

Did you take 10+ turns they need to come out of anarchy into an account. Big cities they are.
And it is already 600AD, time when you should already have had Lib. If you have that research power, it might be better to take botom path and go straight for Steel then wasting beakers on Lib line you might lose, and Lib and Education themselves aren't very useful for killing people.

Hmm I haven't played much today, just finished off the war with Izzy, and then posted the save. I haven't met everyone so someone could already almost be at Lib, I haven't seen one of those who's the most advanced things in that game since the mid BCs so I have no clue, and then it said it was HC. So hopefully it still is HC, but everyone I have met has been in war, or plotting for a very very very long time. Suly, and Suri fought with HC in the BCs but now they hate each other, and have been stuck in a good 1200 year war. But I am not going to even bother with Lib, I am going to go my standard Eng -> Steel -> Military Science to finish off the game. Grenadiers are a solid unit with cannons.
