seed number

how can you find out the seed number of a saved game so you can play it again from the start???


when you use the play the last game function it only activates from the most recent game you played from the start(4000BC)


help??

There is a program called "Seedbeast" that can be downloaded from the Utilities section of the Customization and Creation forum; I'm sure a Search will turn it up. There are other utility programs that (I think) also have the Seed number, but I don't know how to find it.

You may get more responses by putting this question in the forum section of Strategy & Tips, rather than the Articles Section.

If you can load the save with CivAssist 2 running, it will give the seed in the Worldmap tab, just right click for map properties.
