Lost Disc

I have a huge, heartbreaking problem. I recently moved and lost my Civ IV disc 1.

I've called tech support and they won't do an exchange because I don't have both discs.

It seems like a damn shame to have to buy it again. I have all the original packaging and disc 2 and it's installed on my computer (and for that matter, Civ II and III managed to make it in tact). But of course you can't actually play the game without disc 1.

Any ideas?

If it is warlords, use the cd-crack-official patch that was released.

But this is probably Vanilla... well buy warlords, you know you are gonna do it eventually

I have Warlords, but I want to play some vanilla.

I have a similar problem. I un-installed the game to make some room temporarily, and when I went to re-install I could'nt find the 2nd disc. I could play it if I could install it, but can't find a place to do it, besides a BitTorrent. Is there any official place to D/L it?
