This mod adds the Caliphate of Córdoba to the game as a playable civilization. Requires the Brave New World expansion pack.

Leader: Abd-ar-Rahman III

UA: Medina Azahara - Libraries, Markets, Amphitheaters and Workshops increase the yields of the Capital's Palace. +2 Science and Culture for every religion in the Capital with at least one follower.

UB: Alcazaba - Replaces the Castle. Use the Alcazaba to strengthen your City's defenses. Additionally, it provides 10% more Food and +1 Happiness.

UU: Andalusian Polymath - Replaces the Great Scientist. Unlike the Great Scientist, Science output increases per number of Cities in the empire when used to discover a technology. Additionally, may construct any Great Tile Improvement except a Holy Site.

A lot of credit to the original artists/owners of the images I used:
- Leaderscreen/DOM background
- Rahman III
- Andalusian Polymath

Hi, what do you mean by "expand"?
If you click on the link, you can see some screenshots :) (and download it, if you wish).

In other words, I already created it and got it uploaded on civfanatics since I can't upload anything on the workshop anymore >_> (SDK upload bug)

O_o First civ and it is very good! Please post it on Steam Workshop so more people can see your glory ;)

Thanks both, but this isn't my first civilization ;P I have them all uploaded on the workshop, but since a couple of days whenever I try to upload a mod, it says it failed and thus I cannot upload new mods (nor update them). This is why I turned to Civfanatics, since I had this mod finished but I couldn't share it.
This should direct you to my workshop page:

Oh so that's YOU! I really like your civilisations :D I would say you are the best creator of custom civs who isn't aligned with big teams ;) (Pouakai, JFD, TPangolin, sukritact and so on)

Stick around a while and you'll most likely be relentless pestered to do collaboration with Colonialist Legacies :)

Haha sure I'll stick around :) I'm going to upload the mods I have made so far, although one at a time. I've been practically banned from the workshop anyway. This is now the only way to share my mods :p

You might want to change the wording of the description of the Andalusian Polymath. As it is, it makes it sound like you can't construct an academy.

I concur. This is what I'd put instead:-

UU: Andalusian Polymath (replaces Great Scientist)
Science output increases per number of Cities in the empire when used to discover a technology. Additionally, may construct any Great Tile Improvement.

Seriously, though, this is a quality Civ. It's always nice to see Muslim Spain represented. =]

That's probably better, although it can't build a Holy Site, so it can't build all Great Tile Improvements. So I'd still need to sum it up. Or add the Holy Site as an option, although I don't think that's quite justified.

"Science output increases per number of Cities in the empire when used to discover a technology. Additionally, may construct any Great Tile Improvement but a Holy Site."

Perhaps that'll do. And thanks :)

Hi, I found a suggestion of adding these Arabic-Spanish songs (which represents Andalusia's culture at the past) for the soundtracks.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDOGSh9kgyA&feature=youtu.be

This one is for Rahman's peace theme.
AND
Either this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oymEZzEXHvQ
or this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyNXeCfPB2U
for Rahman's war theme.

Unfortunately, I use a macbook pro now (I destroyed my old PC  ). I can't use modbuddy on my mac because there is no mac version of modbuddy.
Hopefully you'll like my idea :D

Oh... DJS has a new thread now, with many more civs.

Indeed, you can better post on my main thread. Music sounds fine, thanks.
