Danmacsch's (Damasc's) civilizations

Where are my obscure spoilers?
(And remember: the day of the whale sharks cometh!)

It's not done yet (though it's getting there!) and you can probably easily guess this but for the sake of it, here be a teaser!

Spoiler :
Hopefully I'll get it done some time next week since I be handing in a project on Monday, though for the first time ever I seem to be ahead of schedule... Though usually deadlines for animation students be like 'hahaha you think you have a life?! No...'

All you gotta do is make your civ v projects count towards your uni assignments! It's worked for me :p

Looks great as usual Kerfuffle! :D I've been working on both The Faroe Islands, The Republic of Ragusa, Freetown Christiania and The Kingdom of [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] these last few weeks, so hopefully all your great maps will soon be put to use.

Oh, and I want to ask, did anyone play a game with The Nuraghians since the last update (version 6)? Someone on Steam reported that he didn't have any Civ specific decisions available when playing as them, and I have absolutely no idea why.

Also, I was thinking of changing a few things regarding the Nuraghians.
First of all I consider removing Iron from the UA (leaving Copper, Silver and Gold), thus not mixing up strategic and luxury resources. This, I think, is more balanced, especially late game, when Iron isn't really of that much use, since exporting it could easily grant you a permanent empire-wide 15-20-25% Combat Bonus.
Secondly, I consider moving the Ipogeo UI from Construction to .. somewhere else. Possibly Masonry, which would make sense historically. The thought behind this is that the AI rarely builds them (despite high favor settings) until every other civ already has founded a religion and moving it - in my initial testing - fixes that. But is it balanced?

EDIT (didn't want to create a new post for this small announcement):
The Nuraghians updated to version 7:
- UA: removed effect from iron
- UA: changed code giving combat strength corresponding to metal exports to fix a few bugs
- UI: moved to Masonry tech
- Decisions: changed the cost of the Mining decision to be dependent on your current culture output instead of of the cost of your next social policy
- Piety&Prestige: added support for Prestige (hopefully)
- Events: Foreign interest in the Nuraghi" event choice (3) "examine the structures ourselfs.." fixed - now actually giving the showed amount of GE specialist points.
- Added support for Vicevirtuoso's Wish for the World

And those maps shall hopefully be done/revised soon! Just a few family things've come up recently which has stalled my work, but with the holidays coming up that should free up some time.
As for the changes for the Nuraghians, I think I'd agree with those changes.

If anyone is up for the task, music suggestions for the Faroe Islands would be much appreciated. Also ideas for events and decisions would be great. I have one decision based on the Sheep Letter and an event based on the Floksmenn story, but other than that I have no ideas.

Would international pressure to stop the Grindadráp work in terms of an event?

Perhaps X City state declares the actions of the grindadráp unethical - I'm not entirely sure what the effects of the responses should be, but I guess giving culture on sources of Ocean Resources could be part of the reward for refusing to ban the event?

Eh, not the most solid idea, but the first that came to mind

As Natan already guessed it over in the Greater Europe thread, I might just as well make the announcement (in my thread since it's soooo lonely .):

Zantonius Hamm, Viregel and myself are working on the Kingdom of Denmark led by Valdemar II The Victorious. I won't spoil anymore details though (already said this once over in the GE thread before making this announcement - oh well [emoji14]).

But as a last thing, here's the leader scene:
Spoiler :

I... I like that background...

Spoiler :
but is it just me, or he's in the middle of a tornado? What's with the hair?

Yeah, that's because it's based upon Mads Mikkelsen's face :D. Actually it's only the cheeks and partly the hair that's from the original photo material I used, but for some reason the Mikkelsen-feel just sticks.

And yeah, Natan, maybe a tornado event from NatDis just occurred on the tile in which the leader scene takes place ;).

but is it just me, or he's in the middle of a tornado? What's with the hair?

He's clearly a vampire and can't see how he looks in a mirror.

So, in celebration of civfanatics being back up (?), I thought I'd announce something. A civ in the works pretty far from my usual European civ comfort zone, designed by Hoop Thrower, and with most of the art and coding already done (could really use some help from a lua grandmaster with the UA though!!).
It would have been a perfect addition to the upcoming Battle Royale Mk.II, but since that's already so far in progress, there's probably not hope of seeing it appear there.

You should really be excited by this; Hoop's design is beautiful and I think it will be equal part fun to play as, as (humorously) frustrating to play against.

Is it one of the Native of Chile civs?
