SGOTM 14 - Kakumeika

In practice games, I have made the mistake of leaving it at 0% a few turns, or picking the wrong tech to research. Try to avoid doing that lol.

Oh no no. I won't do that.
Wait few (1-4) minutes.

Alright, I had gotten that issue for vista. After reading the message, I cancelled. I put back full control (administrator right). It seems I already had it.
Okay I'm in the game.

mabraham, are you sure I don't need to boot since I just put back full control. I don't for settling and securing the game.

As stated earlier, I vote Washington. We need to get rid of that GEngineer to start mass GScientist birth.

Hrmm, it would be nice to get the Great Engineer out of the way.

Once the Great Person Farm takes off, I have seen cases where the (Mids/Engineer Specialist/Hanging Gardens) City could not catch up in time and had to gamble with 75% Great Engineer/25% Great Scientist. It produced a Great Scientist

I would say Washington or Stone City is probably best ya. Unless we want to perform a religion change during Tachywaxon's turnset? Then perhaps Trojan City for the 40% stealing bonus.

I have no idea about Vista.

Let's forget. I think it is alright. I did the changes without reboot long time ago IIRC and posted many HoF without a single problem like crash. Okay then. I open once again the save.
I am awaring you, I will play very slowly. This is true turn-set and my first one. The last one was joke compared to present one.

Of course, I will provide goody like screenshots to maintain Kaitzilla awake. :)

Good luck Tachywaxon. Don't worry about me. I'll last until the caffeine and Linkin Park runs out. Mabraham or Shulec should be available, or Bcool when he wakes up. If we all konk out, just use your best judgement :D

OK I'm off. Back in 4 hours or so. Good luck Tachy!

 And I was about to finish turn 2.
Nothing special except fake Shaka at last decided to turn monarch.
And binary research for the 5 first turns, forget it because we turned off gems.

Some pix.

Kaitzilla died. :nono:

Wow, the West Witches are teching Construction pretty fast. And they are also getting a Great Merchant in 3 turns most likely. That would let them bulb Currency? The Great Spy is getting good vision onto the West Witches cities for us.

I make a change in my PPP, a minor one.
I want to run a scientist with third pop in Silver City and build one hammer research. I don't what this will bring, but I am hoping fast Currency.

What do you think?

Faster please, I am declining in power.

Oh and they get a GScientist at 6%...if this happens I will throw the computer like the Angry German Kid. ;)

I would stick with the original PPP. There is no huge rush on Currency. Two AI will have it in 3 turns, and two more if they bulb it around the same time. We might be able to get a large chunk of gold from them through trades.

I too will scream if the West Witches manage a Great Scientist!

Give us a city screen picture of Silver City to help.

More screenies. Tempted by jungle, the royal domain of adorable Monty?

If I fire the scientist, then it is a 7 turn Currency.

How much difference if we work the silver?

Just ugly. We are stuck to 0% research. Moreover, I feel 5 :commerce:+2:hammers: < 6 :science:+6 :gp:

I think bcool wanted a galley there, that is why I am unsure of what I am doing.

Of course 4 :hammers: < 6 :science:+6 :gp:

I doubt Silver City will be able to produce a Great Person before the game ends unless we forget about working all those mines.

What about the lakes? Silver City is small and grow grow grow isn't a terrible strategy either. If decision is too hard, then the player gets to choose unless someone really wants to object I'd imagine.

A galley would probably be a good build. A lighthouse too. Building research isn't that good compared to say building wealth.

Ah yes. Another fact I couldn't know is I will lose one hammer in GPFarm for the spy in five turns, way earlier than GLib popping out. For next turn-set, the spy is going to be urgent matter.

The GPP points won't likely every go to a GP. Use the silver and add to our gold so when we get to 100% research, we will realize the value of the silver, whereas the GPP points will never come to fruition.
