All wrong so far. Here is next clue.

Correct.

Clue 1: I am despised by all except my owner.
When playing a civ game, you HATE Merchants of Venice if they're not yours, because you know they will destroy a random city state.

Clue 2: I tend to be redundant.

Clue 3: I make offers they can't refuse.
They buy the city state. The city state won't object.
 
On the same note, Diplomatic Marriage?

... seriously, it's like a very unique form of forward settling.

Very well then, here goes:


Clue 1: I may be innocent in the game, but in real life, I murdered thousands, if not millions.

BTW, I'm bcyy. I'm using this temporary account because my non-temporary account was one of those corrupted.

Pretty good guesses, though. I understand that this first clue may be a little too ambiguous.
