It's Pi Day!
So make sure you all eat a slice of pie on 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 (It only comes once in a lifetime)
That said, let's do something completely unrelated: release a civ!
(Not because pi, just because it's been done for a while and today's a special day)
Spoiler :
Peace Theme: "The Ancients" by Two Steps From Hell
War Theme: "At the Gates of Babylon" by Antti Martikainen
SPECIAL INFORMATION
Samarkand replaced with Tadmur.
Several cities removed from the Arabian, Persian and Mongolian city lists.
SUPPORTS:
Civ IV Traits
Cultural Diversity
Events and Decisions
Map Labels
Piety and Prestige
Traits Balance GoldPrime++ (partially, I think)
Unique Cultural Influence
Special Thanks

...the next civ I hope to get out... will be a highly science-based, hit-and-run conquering civ.
'course, at the time, no one else knew what civ I was talking about.More like Assyria high on caffeine while meditating, I think, if you can imagine that
Hm. The first should be quite easy to fix, it merely means I'm missing one minor art asset. The second should be fairly easy also, but we'll see. No diagnosis yet. Hopefully I can get it fixed tomorrow. No log errors?
And I just realized I forgot to update the Invisibility Patch, so I'll do that tomorrow too.

IINM this would make all my mods completely incompatible with each other. :/Any chance you would be willing to patch the invisibility into the individual mods?
However, that will require Civ5 to actually start up, which for me has been crashing lately for no readily apparent reason.
EDIT: Yep, even after I reinstalled, Civ5 is still crashing when I try to load it. I can't even try to reproduce the error for the foreseeable future.

The entire point of the Invisibility Patch is to prevent precisely that. Its code includes an override of the UI lua... and any two mods that override the same file are incompatible. Hence, if the same invisibility code existed in all my civs, you could only play one of them at any given time.
There is, but it's restricted to BNW. That method would make my mods incompatible with G&K.Hm. I know other creators make use of invisible buildings in multiple mods. Is there another way to do it?
No, I just did "Delete Local Content" and then installed again. So, I guess it's time for round 2 of the reinstall.Did you manually delete the civ 5 folder before reinstalling? Steam doesn't uninstall anything that the user has modified on his own, I think.

The real problem here is that I'm just stubborn and refuse to move on to modding just BNW.
The Federation of Dan lead by Dan the Squid
Capital: Squidtopopolis
Colors: Deep Middle Blue and Aqua-Sky Blue (Reverse of the icon)
Primary Bias: LOLZ
Secondary Bias: Marine Life Supremacy
Start Bias: Coastal
UA: Approves this Message - Founded coastal cities have doubled yields and generate a random unique luxury nearby. Founded landlocked cities have halved yields and founding one generates 5 turns of anarchy.
UU: Big Squid - Dan the Squid's Unique Unit which replaces all naval units. 50 Strength and 5 moves. It may also construct fishing boats. Has a permanent -50% defense penalty and may receive the unique Hasty Retreat line of promotions, as well as expend its opportunity for a promotion in exchange for 1 Ink resource.
UB: Ink Refinery - Dan the Squid's Unique Building which does not replace anything. Requires 1 Ink and converts it into 1 Oil, generates +1 Science per ocean tile, and has Engineer specialist slots. While incurring a heavy 10 Gold maintenance cost, it also generates 1 Gold per population each turn.
