Is ToT Abandonware now?

Finally decided to obtain ToT, and Google gave me a hit on an abandonware site that
has the game and the 1.1 patch for download. Does anyone know if this is legit, or
some sort of pirate thing?

Not clearly knowing the game's legal status myself, I'd advise buying one of the copies on Amazon if you have the wherewithal just to be on the safe side, especially if it's bugging your conscience enough to ask in a thread.

Thanks. I don't mind paying for it, but if it was legitimately abandonware, I figured I'd take it.

"Abandonware" is not a real legal status. Even if a game is not being sold and you can't get hold of it at all it's still illegal to download it.

Is ToT Abandonware now?
