Quicker way to delete saves?

I'm was hoping there might be a faster way to delete old save files than using the GUI. I have a lot of saves I want to delete but the game menu seems a bit tedious.
Is there a way I can go into the Steam file and delete multiple saves?

Go to:
C:\Users\~UserNAME~\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Saves

there are different folders for different games so yeah just delete them manually.

Note that the above file is for files saved on your local hard drive that aren't mods.

If you loaded a mod, local save files are actually going to be in ModdedSaves.
