Leader - Richard E. Byrd

Unique Building - Insulated Granary

Spoiler :
Replaces Granary, grants +2 Research


Unique Building 2 - Research Outpost

Spoiler :
Replaces Public School. +4 Research from each source of Whales, Crabs, or Furs.


Unique Unit - Expeditioner

Spoiler :
Replaces Scout. Movement rate doubled in Tundra and Snow.


Unique Improvement - Ice Shanty

Spoiler :
Upon discovery of Sailing, workers can build Ice Shanties on Snow tiles, yielding +2 food, +1 gold, +1 production.


Unique Ability - Surveyors of the Desolate
Spoiler :
+20% Great People generation. Great Improvements built on Tundra or Snow generate +4 Research (increases with Scientific Theory and Atomic Theory techs).

Hey,

dunno why noone commented yet. I didn't play your civ yet but judging from the descriptions it seems to be one of the most balanced custom civs I saw so far. Everything is thematically fitting and useful without being too strong, since everything just makes up for the otherwise pretty useless snow tiles.

I guess people just want some eye candy as well, but your concepts seem very good. :)
