What is the best way to determine which government the AI civs are currently in? Haven't been able to find it. Thanks

As justanick said, you can see that in the F3 screen, however, personally, I prefer CA II over the F3 screen simply because I get many more things to see there apart from the governments.

Exactly what they said.

Also take note that the AI often uses Republic/Democracy during peacetime and switches to Monarchy/Communism during wartime.
