Changing Difficulty/Speed

Say I start up a game on Prince--can I take the 4000BC starting save and somehow change the settings to make it Monarch? What about speed, like changing from Normal to Epic? Reason I ask is because often I get a really awesome start and know I'm going to win, and would prefer to play it on a higher level. Also, many people post starting saves on here which look like a lot of fun, but I'd rather play them on a different level. Cheers.

this method works for me. requires the game to not have Lock Modified Assets.

i hope it helps you . i forget who came up with the post-it note idea, which i think is brilliant. i think maybe it was ruff_hi on the RB boards. in any case, i can't claim credit for that one!
