Historical Realism: Notes on Recreating History in Civ2 Scenarios is a new thesis written by Morten Blaaberg. This thesis is well written and contains some very interesting and insightful ideas about player motivation and historical realism in Civ2 scenarios. It's a good read for both scenario makers and players alike. You can find this thesis in our Civ2 Rreference section.

like for instance in city of moscow was founded about 1147 ad and its city wall were built in 1156 and palace/capital is constructed in 1918.

also in jerusalsem when King solomon builds the temple in the 960's BC that was a event to put in the game. sometimes city improvements are as important as building military units. the wall of newyork city in the 1640's but remember to sell it off later. and then built stock market in 1800.

my favorite game right now is Test of Time but thats a Civ2 game also but its not found on this website yet but needs to be. im working on a scenario for it.
