If you could choose one social policy twice, which would you take?

Tradition finisher for +30% growth in all cities. If that doesn't count, aristocracy for +2 happy/10 pop.

Off the top of my head, Consulates maybe, since that'd give you perma friendship with all city-states, and we saw how powerful that was.

Most likely though, Secularism is probably the correct answer.

Religious Tolerance ;)
No I'd probably want Humanism: 50% GS Production or New Deal, which would add 8 tile yield to Acadamie & Manufactories etc.

Are you including ideaologies? Because technically they are social policies. And also, are you saying that prerequisites can be ignored? Because picking an early policy twice can win the game right there, whereas if you have to wait until the modern era for your bonus, that'd affect the choice. And getting to pick a late game policy in the early game would be huge just in itself.

Or, am I putting too much thought into this?

Double Worker's Faculties.

Build Factories that increase your Science output by 50% in quarter of the usual time. (half of a half)

You just can't beat that combo, don't even bother trying.

If tall, Monarchy or possibly Secularism (+4 science per specialist? Yes, please)
If wide, Socialist Realism (+4 happiness per city? Sure!)

Actually is +100% production on the tenet, would be +200% that is factories in aprox one third the original time. The production overflow would be also awesome.

Monarchy is better just because when it comes and what you need at that time.

x2 Monarchy, mostly because of how early it becomes available. But since it's mentioned too many times already, I`ll go with Consulates instead - let CS build your empire without you even trying!

If you could choose one social policy, then at a later time, select it again for double effect, which would you take?

Double Monarchy: With Monarchy reducing unhappiness from population by 50% in the capital, double monarchy would reduce unhappiness from population by 100% in the capital.
Also the Monarchy gold bonus being doubled would also be great.

OK I'll be different and choose landed elite, +4 food and and +20% growth in the cap isn't bad, but maybe that's just me because I like my cap to be big...
