A modpack to fill in the gaps

This is a mod series dedicated to adding civilisations to the game that have been overlooked by firaxis developers and other modders, along with cultures that are pretty damn cool. It aims to not only introduce interesting gameplay mechanics, but also to create a culturally diverse array of civs, from tiny principalities and tribes to long forgotten empires.

The Protectorate of England, Ireland and Scotland was a state that existed from 1653 to 1660 when the British isles were kingless, and governed like a republic. In 1653 Oliver Cromwell was declared Lord Protector and established the Protectorate (formly known as the commonwealth). An English Civil war veteran, and to some a hero of English religious liberty, Cromwell defined himself as one of the greatest but also controversial figures of his time. Often painted as a cold, heartless ruler due to his actions against the Irish, he infact a compassionate man who strove to restore peace and safety to England.

Check it out on steam here!

I will update this thread soon

Awesome! Do you have a non-Steam link for download?

Also, is it compatible with civs that make Andorra into a city-state?

Awesome! Do you have a non-Steam link for download?

Also, is it compatible with civs that make Andorra into a city-state?

The link should be on the steam page

here is one anyway

No, it isn't, but thanks for pointing that out, hopefully I'll get that sorted in an update, if you could tell me which mods add Andorra as a city state, that would be great.

Aswell as giving my mods YNAEMP support at some point . . .

I have to say, that's some leader art!

You should be thanking Kiang, it was his first attempt at a composite from other leaders, but it turned out beautifully!

Oooo your signature fits me perfectly!
Your civ... fits cultural play style perfectly!
(Its not mine playing style though)...
:p

if you could tell me which mods add Andorra as a city state, that would be great.

Looks like it's JFD/Janboruta's Belgium.

Yup, definitely Jifford's Belgium. I suggest Visby for the replacement. =]

Fine, fine, Texcoco (pre-Columbian Mexicans) and Beikthano (ancient Burmese) also work. =]

So, as an aside, I have a complete list of city-states laying around that I doubt anybody would ever use either. It would be really handy if we had a community mod that made it so we didn't have 3 Montivideos and modders stepping on each other's toes with naming.

There are handful of Israeli cities you could use: be'er sheba, for example...
Lol reminds of the game i had with "jifford's" Russias, when i seht a spy to the wrong Moscow.... oops. :crazyeye:
