wait...what exactly am i supposed to comment about?

I was wondering the same...

I suppose why you (anr anyone) woudl bother supporting parties that (and lets ignore the fact that they are both comrpised by scum of the earth here) parties that rarelly actually represent anyone (even thier own) interests.

Because I would rather have the Republicans ruin us than the Democrats.

I've noticed the Democrats(mainly Howard Dean interview on CNN) stessed a little xenophobia on regarding the Dubai and UAE bying some of the ports in United States.Kinda funny that most of US ports been bought (china own one in San Diego i think) in the span of 30 years.Democrats are failing to understand free-trade.:crazyeye:

I agree with Xen! I hate politics so much! I mean political philosophy and the like is interesting but I'll leave the actual politics to pseudopolitical teens and blog junkies.

Yep, I've seen you post that one before...a pretty good solution, I'd say. Except that they're not nearly big enough or have enough exposure to get the message out, get people to vote, and make a big difference. And if they ever do get big enough, you'll have imposters running the party and mire it in corruption, just like every party that comes to power.

I couldn't have said it better myself! :goodjob:

The thing is that as soon as you realize that all this insane fervor over our entrenched political system is a giant waste of time, the happier you will be! cynicism rules!

Despite being a Catholic, I am not sure that I can support a political party that bases its platform on religious ideology. That just scares me too much. They seem to conveniently ignore the 1st Amendment, in that regard.

While I can certainly agree with some of their points, they seem a bit whacko to me.

I can remember two occasions when Constitution representatives came to my high school to talk. One of them was most remembered for saying that if their party was in the presidency, they would remove the US from the UN, because, as he said, the UN people "are all communists."

The other representative looked freakishly like Willem Dafoe, and the whole time talked about nothing except how homosexuals are engaged in a nationwide conspiracy to kidnap children and force them into pornography.

The weird thing is, this dude actually seemed totally faithful in what he was saying.:wow:

I enjoy their "World's Smallest Political Quiz."

Wow, it nailed me.
