Ramkhamhaeng is a jerk...

I've never had a positive experience with Ramkhamhaeng...just sayin'

Back yonderwhen, as I was working up to warlord, I killed off Rammy, and this was my first chance to liberate anything; so I liberated his city, and the SOB DW's on me. The boy had zero army, thus 2 turns later , I put him back into his coffin, welded it and buried it in 20 feet of concrete .

I am in the middle of a late-game endgame with myself and Alex the only possible Victors.

Alex is going for Diplo and I'm going for Science. A weak Washington sits between us. Washington has built the Forbidden palace so obviously I can't let Alex get that....

Alex declares war on Washington and is using GWB to beat him to a pulp. I monitor the situation and when it gets too bad, DOW Alex myself and let my fighters and AA intercept and destroy Alex's aircraft. Washington's existence is saved.

Next turn: "The presence of your units on my borders is causing concern..." Ungrateful SOB.
