I think many would agree on that what is spoiling the game right now, is different levels of dedication and people that are put in group with others, who don't play the game like them. Personally I am a very dedicated teamplayer. When I started out my first game, I was lucky to have some others of this kind in my civilization. We did allright, but we got very frustrated over all the idlers, the people that play only for themselves and the people who did not reply to chat. What we did, was to break out and start our own civilization. With a lot of dedication from all and some of trial and error, we learned much about the game and we won this game with a ton of points. However, what felt best to me, was the team victory. I'd honestly give away all my fame points and medals to see my team win the game.
Next game we recruited some more people and I think we are seeing the start of a small community here. Our goal is to provide a platform for teamplayers, to search out other teamplayers. We will also arrange for several teams entering the same game, competing with each other. Community will be flat structure, democratic and non-profit. I have experience from building a 4000+ user Minecraft community, so I should know at least some ins and outs of this.
To join us, you must:
- Be a teamplayer. This means putting your team's general state, over your own fame and victory points.
- Be communicative, people that don't talk, are not teamplayers.
- Whenever you join one of our teams in a game, plan to log on at least 2 times each day.
- Be nice, we are all here to have fun and relax. Beeing nice, makes this a bit easier.
If this sounds like you, you can pm me for a link to our group. Include your facebook name.
