What is, in your opinion, the greatest car of all times (I got my car bac from the shop this afternoon, I'm rather on the car thing tonight)

For me it's the 1984 Mercades 300 D Turbo Diesel.

It's dependable, goes a decent speed (when it gets there) a Sunroof, Diesel fuel costs less, and the engines are more efficient.

mine has leather seats, and the car is just classy, just classy.

However, against it, it has no cupholders

What's yours?

btw: have you seen the new T-bird? Retro look, very nice, and easier (i'll bet) to find parts for than an older model that comes by the look naturally, though the older ones are still better.

A 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500.

EDIT: I should also say that I like the 1967 model just as much. I have no real preference over the year ;)

Yeah , I love the new Thunderbirds, very nice cars.

Don't get me wrong now - I don't own the GT. I just think its one of the greatest cars of all time :) I drive a '96 Explorer. :)

I understood, I doubt we could find anyone here who did.

It probably is the greatest car of all times, but I have way too much foolish pride in my little diesle Benz to think it better . It's a force much akin to nationalism.

I like my familys BMW 745i Nice and comfy, with heated, massaging, and cooling seats. GPS and all other computer options controlled by using only one knob. Road guidance, voice activated commands, and quite large trunk. Very nice. :)

I saw one at a car show that literally made me cry. Just too beautiful...

I think the '57 Corvette deserves a place at the table.

1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.

402 horsepower, 6.6L V-8 engine. What a wonderful sound that Detroit engine makes!

They get shi++y gas mileage, but what a sweet ride!

Gotta love it.

Probably better than my Benz, though out of my reach.
Don't worry, Skilord. Jeratain is not allowed to own any car besides a Mercedes when he's 40 or so. :)

No no no... It's definately our Saab 96

Agreed! It's a monument to simplicity and pragmatism.
