Muchas gracias gapetit!

That mosquito rocks!
And the indian with the pelt is very nice.

-edit- Actually, you have a hoard of gems in here.

Thanks, but without your art, these adaptation scenarios would not exist.
Saludos

I've been brushing up on Byzantine history lately myself, coincidentally enough. I, too, would be very interested in seeing these scenarios re-invigorated, though I admit I hadn't had the pleasure of trying the originals in the day.

Hi folks, been a long time since I last posted here on civ fanatics. I've got a request that is probably a longshot but does anyone have these two scenario modifications I worked on a few years back? Here is a link to the thread to get an idea of what I am talking about.

I lost these files a while back and can't seem to find them anywhere. They were for DAROE and the Justinian the Great Civ 2 scenarios.

Catfish has carried out his trademark meticulous ToT conversions on both. They are on his site under 'links'. I posted graphics updates for bot someowhere on this site...

Keep up your incredible work, Gapetit! I haven't seen a couple of these scenarios before. Nice job with Barbarossa :goodjob:

Dominium Maris Baltici is also a gem. Everyone should try this scenario. It's a real nail-biter where you (as the Swedes) have to conquer Poland before the rest of the European powers gang up on you. Very tough to win! It has the same feel as Techumseh's excellent Frederick the Great scenario.

I tried your Barbarossa scenario. I think the game play is evenly balanced between the Soviets and Fascists. I played as the Finns, and I noticed that the Germans invade deep into Soviet territory in 1941, and then the Soviets put up a stiffer defense in early 1942. As the Finns, I was able to capture Leningrad and Moscow rather quickly. I think it would have been more challenging to play as the Soviets. The problem with this is that the Soviets start out with 130 cities! That is too many cities to manage, and the map is very large. I enjoyed your Russian Revolution scenario because it was based on a smaller. more manageable map.

The Norwegian Campaign is also very big. I prefer smaller sized maps with fewer cities to manage. Here is an old (incomplete) scenario from MGE that uses a much smaller map of Norway. If converted to ToT, it would be very fun to play.
