Goodbye, India. I think you're an awesome civ with some interesting history, but you're just not that well represented in the game. The UA is finicky, the UU isn't anything great, and the UB requires a prequisite and isn't that great either. You're awesome, but you definitely deserve to go out before Venice.
Meanwhile, Venice. Definitely think they need to hang on a little longer. I think people are taking way too much into account the negative side of their UA - but unlike India, they have massive massive boosts to compensate. All the money I could ever want? Being able to gain new cities with almost all their infrastructure and tile improvements complete? Being able to raise an army within 2 or 3 turns under an attack? Being able to control the world congress with ease and coast to the easiest diplo victory you'll ever have? Super capital thanks to internal trade routes? Come on! All of these put together make Venice far more viable than people here give them credit for!
