Sulla's Civilization IV Walkthrough

Hey Sullla, great walk-through. Thank you so much! I printed out every page of it, and put it in a folder and read it as if I was studying for a med school exam!

Thanks!!!

I am about to purchase Warlords....I hope that there is a similar walk through for that (i.e. describing the differences).

Your approach (of creating a walk-through instead of strategy guide-lines) was awesome especially for novices like myself.

I played one game (before reading your guide), and I ended up conquering 4 out of the 5 civs but by that time I was broke and people started rioting. I seriously hope that the next time I play I can move up a level (to Warlord) and not run into financial troubles.

I read through the walkthrough and have played a couple of games myself.
There is something that is escaping me...how does one actually do the 100% science throughout an entire game? How does one get income that would go towards maintaince costs (for cities, etc.) and not to science research?

(If it matters, I am playing Warlords.)

You would have to build money making buildings (not commerce). Commerce is divided through the slider.
So for instance a shrine would do it, or specialists. But it's very hard to do it, and often not necessary. It's not the % that matters, it the absolute value that does.

PS. Better post such questions in a new thread instead of bumping such an old, although very good, thread.

Have fun

omg...your awsome! =D

Wow. How did you get to become a beta tester anyway? (Wouldn't everyone want to know?...)

"And lest you think that Spiritual/Philosophical is the best trait combo, you should see me play a game with a Financial civ where I go the cottage-spam route. Or take an Industrious civ for a spin and go nuts on wonders. Or take a Creative civ and dominate someone culturally." - SULLLA

Hey, Sullla, how about you go ahead and write up a couple walkthroughs on these other civs? I would love to see what you do with Catherine or Roosevelt!

Hey sulla! Try to summarize this walkthrough, put it in notepad, and pass it to GameFaqs. Just search gamefaqs at yahoo or goggle and create a profile there then, start pumping this! Many gamers will be grateful to you.
