Global Highland Challenge Pitboss

Could someone help me and explain how should I do to extend the turn timer? Thanks!

I propose to extend the turn timer during the next 2 weeks, maybe to 48hours. And I still plan to pause the game from 20th to 28th. Would this solution be OK?
@Indiansmoke, do you plan to have a sub? If not, would a turn timer extension over 3 weeks suit you?
 
You just change the timer in the Pitboss window. It doesn't take effect until the following turn though.
 
Timer extension and pause plans are fine by me ... if I even get a vote, being such a recent arrival.

(Geronimo, you will be pleased to know that I forgive you for gifting all those units to Munro that he used to crush me in Chaos and Civ II :lol: ;))

I don't see anything wrong in the pitboss application. Do you still experience trouble?
 
I missed last, couldn't log in....I will not ask for a reload, but it is kinda a bummer this early when the turns really matter. :(
 
Roonie, sorry there apparently have been troubles on my connection. Don't hesitate to shout on the forum, I could increase the timer if such things happen again.
I plan to increase it tomorrow night anyway!
 
I am leaving unexpectedly, and will be back on the 24th or 25th.

I queued up some moves, hopefully my warrior who's scheduled to meet the unescorted settler won't run into animals that will confuse him, thus leaving the settler to be MAULED TO DEATH AAAAAAARRRR!

Hmm ... what time was your failed attempt? Same time as mine, or are we seeing repetitive transient troubles?

I couldn't get in about 7pm pacific time....so way different from you.

I was really short on time, so figured the game was down, and I would have time in the morning.

No worries, it IS just a game!
 
I can't connect to the game :( I end up in the staging room screen :confused:

Balls. I'm meant to be subbing for Smokey and last time I checked there was like a bazillion hours on the clock and I forgot to check again and hadn't realised the timer had been changed. Ergh, missed 3 turns. I can't find IP address details anywhere, wrongly just assumed they would just be in the thread, but they aren't. Can someone please PM them to me and pause the game so I can do this turn? thanks
 
Sorry, I was ill these last days. I didn't look at the thread. Could you confirm if the connection to the game is still erratic?
