Hey,

To: Lakeshire
From: Commander Mila Quinn of the Atomic Foxes 1057th RCT

Let us know how much you need for the projects.

OOC
Did Hahira attack before Mila Quinn left for the Bunker or after? If after the Orders show Hahira with the following weapon stats.

A traitorous Fox? :wow:

We're not developing any specific projects, simply looking to see how much we could acquire to then judge what projects we can undertake.

To: Nasa
From: Mims

Could you perhaps provide us with sufficient tech parts to enable us to begin construction on a water pump/purifier? Without said tech parts, it is unlikely we will achieve self-sufficiency.

To: Mims
From: Nasa
We will indeed provide you with the Tech necessary to make yourselves self sufficient.

To: Nasa
From: State of Daytona

We are looking to trade for ammunition after a raider attack this year depleted over half of our current stockpile. We would also be interested in obtaining any amount of tech parts you could part with. What sort of deal can you offer?

To: State of Daytona
From: Nasa
We will happily give you 100 Ammunition as a gift. On top of that, we are prepared to trade ammunition with you at a 1:1 Ratio of Ammunition to Scrap, up to 400 Ammunition.

Commander’s Challenge:
Spoiler :
We are meant to be the shepherds of mankind’s future. How can we truly call ourselves the guardians of tomorrow if we are unwilling to make the sacrifice to teach and help those in need. Our schools, our hospitals, all are able to take the raw material the wasteland gives us, and turn it into upstanding Citizens of Nasa. Indeed, it is our duty to help those less fortunate than we are.

Orders:
Spoiler :
Send Mims 6 Tech Parts.

Send Daytona State 100 Ammunition

Initiate a trade with State of Daytona for 1:1 Ammunition and scrap, up to 400 Ammunition.

Build for 500 Scrap and 6 Tech Parts a Ammunition convertor.

Initiate a system of patrols to protect all the members of the Nasa Congress. this patrol will consist of four staggered teams, consisting of 5 individuals in power armor and 15 non-power armored individuals, armed with 5 Plasma rifles and 15 Laser rifles each, travelling in staggered order between the different towns (Christmas, Cocoa Beach, Daytona State, and Mims), so that each member town has a patrol within a half days travel. Heavily encourage the other towns to commit to their own set of patrols, but as the congress didn’t decide it was necessary, don’t be pushy about it. These patrols will also escort merchants travelling between the towns, and will help to create a greater sense of community.

Near the front of the gates of Nasacity, Create an area called Nasa-market. If we have the scrap for it, build a wall/gate around it (500 scrap.) This market will be a permanent venue for people from all throughout the wasteland to sell and buy.

The Market will have a very strict set of rules: All security and protection will be handled by Impartial Nasa officials. All weapons are to be handed over to Security officials at the front gate for a receipt, and will be returned when the holder of the receipt leaves the market. Some exceptions will be made, so long as weapons are registered with Nasa. Theft is a severe crime, one punishable by stripping of goods and purchases, and subsequent exile into the waste. All merchants must register themselves and their goods with Nasa, and in turn will be offered all the protection Nasa can offer. Being caught with a non-registered weapons within the bounds of the market is grounds for summary execution. All will be welcome at the market, so long as they intend to sell and buy.

The Market will at all times be patrolled by 10 individuals in power armor, armed with laser rifles and High-Tech Melee as well as An additional 25 individuals NOT in power armor, but still armed with lasers and high-tech melee.

If, at any point, anyone comes through the market selling working robots, we will attempt to buy them, with up to 50 2-H.

A large scale expedition (100 People, heavily armed and armored) will attempt to gather as much scrap as they can from old titusville.

Nasa city itself will, of course, remain fortified and protected by the remaining members of our population.

Nasa Radio will continue to broadcast information regarding survival in the wasteland, Educational messages, health tips, and music, but also will talk about Nasa Market, advertising both it and it’s rules, presenting it as the safest place to trade in the Sunshine Wasteland.

Governor's Challenge

Spoiler :
We’ve at last achieved some degree of safety and stability, allowing our people to focus on other pursuits. Occupying the vault has given us access to the large amount of educational materials within designed for educated the vault’s occupants. With this comes the opportunity to establish a proper school and educational system for our children. Some of our people have called for the abandoning the old ways of oral education, and creating a school to better educate our young. On the other hand, some people claim that the materials provided by the vaults could undermine the unity of our people, stating that the books could brainwash the children against their elders. They also claim that the resources that would be dedicated to education would be better spent on other improvements to our new settlement. How do we respond?

Governor's Challenge Solution

Spoiler :

Since we have been able to secure better facilities to defend, we can begin thinking about the future. The future of the New Gulf Commonwealth requires us to educate our children in order to better prepare them for some eventualities. In order to learn from the mistakes of our ancestors, we need to learn from them. The materials in the vault present the opportunity to do so. So though it may take us some time, we will spare a few men to pour over the education materials so that we might select that which best aids us. Reading, Riting, and Rithmatic, as our elders told us about. We will want to choose the history that allows us to best show how the NGC is more legitimate than the previous government, and how we have claim as the True Heirs of the Commonwealth. As time goes on, we will disseminate new information as the NGC requires. We do not need our fellow countrymen worrying with details about the evil Chicom. We use the history to demonstrate the follies and evils of the Federal Government that led to the decimation of the former American states. The Commonwealth shall rise again.

Spoiler challenge :

Some of our people have begun reporting strange dreams as of late, and instances of sleepwalking around the camp have increased. Our people believe that we have been cursed by an unknown source, and the more superstitious believe these happenings to be indicators of haunting by spirits. They believe we should attempt to appease the spirits through ritual sacrifice, nodding meaningful towards the new immigrants who arrived recently. How do we respond to these fears?

Sam Hower does not believe that the recent reports are caused by spirits or the new immigrants, he is backed in this believe by, most, of the council.* A investigation will be done into the reports, the lives of those afflicted will be turned upside down, are there any dietary changes? Do they have certain enviromental similarities, that sort of thing. However, in order to appease the more xenophobic members of the tribe, 25 officials will be appointed to keep an eye on the immigrants. They will receive melee weapons in case the immigrants actual have something to do with and try to resist. There will also be set a temporary stop on immigrants.

*Those of the council that oppose this believe are funny enough the same that opposed the welcoming of outsiders.

Spoiler Orders :

Squirrels:
The squirrels have inhabited a pre-war settlement that could be full of resources. It is key that we gain acces to the settlement in order to scavenge it.
However we do not know anything about the squirrels and observation clearly does not work. Therefor attempst have to be made to communicate with the squirrels.

armament
We currently have not enough melee weapons for even half our population. This has to be amended. Therefor a forge will be build and 270 new melee weapons will be forged upon it.

Forge: 500 sp
100 melee Weapons: 500 sp
