Units getting pushed out when Open Borders ends is fair enough, but it's annoying that an Open Borders treaty cannot be renewed until it has expired. In my current game i'm locked in a grim struggle against runaway nuclear armed Askia , who is attacking my BFF China. I moved units into China to save their Capitol and am on the brink of capturing Askia's uranium mine. The the agreement runs out and my troops get kicked out of China.
It would be even better if the AI prompts you that Open Borders is about to expire and you have units in my territory, do you wish to negotiate another agreement? but I can see why they might not (why reward carelessness)
