Only Miles and the Slavics stand between Rich and a domination victory now in this episode of Civilization Beyond Earth. The PAC has fallen in the same way as Franco-Iberia and has signed a peace with the Polystralians. JJ pledges to hold out until the end and promises what little help he can muster to their neighbors in the south. But Polystralian weapons have advanced far beyond what the Slavics can muster. Cities are falling left and right. Is it finally time to hail our new supreme leader?

Welcome to our 4-player Civilization Beyond Earth Let's Play! This is the 6th season of our Civilization Series. We've just started to colonize a new Protean world.

Epi 1: Butter Your Bread

Justin and Miles are looking to prove themselves in a hostile new world as they are relatively new to Civilization. JJ looks to make up for his mistakes on Earth after losing via diplomatic victory in the last season, despite being on top in every metric. Rich simply want to continue dominating whatever world his Civilization happens to be on.

Enjoy!

Epi 2: My Siege Worm

All 4 civilizations begin to explore out into this new world in Beyond Earth. Some of the civs encounter a little more resistance from the aliens than the others. JJ talks about where to get that first affinity point, while Justin and Rich continue to have a truce as they wipe out the aliens nearby. Rich establishes much more firm borders with Miles.

Epi 3: Feeling Like Men

The Nine2Five crew are having just a little problem with the alien menace in this Beyond Earth game. JJ faces the problem in the north, while Justin and Rich in the east have the aliens seemingly everywhere. Miles, JJ and Rich all meet up in the middle with their explorers, but quickly disperse before the aliens start checking out that area as well. Pretty soon its going to be time to man up and take the aliens on!

Epi 4: Boring War

The first war in this game of Beyond Earth ends in a white peace between Polystralia and the aggressive Franco-Iberians. Apparently even in the future the French cannot win a war. Sustained aggression against players is becoming impossible at this point with all of the aliens around. Despite the alien menace, more cities are being established on this new world and more land is being claimed. The war will probably go down as a minor skirmish and a prelude for future conflicts.

Epi 5: I'm Morgan Freeman

The movie questionnaire continues in this episode of Beyond Earth. The Franco-Iberians continue to lead in the points table, much to the chagrin of the Polystralian empire. The Slavics have moved out of the basement with their continued expansions while the PAC is hampered by the aliens. The eastern Civ, Polystralia and the PAC, each head one step down the Harmony affinity track. Its the first affinity points in the game.

Epi 6: Astroglide is Helping

The Franco-Iberians and Polystralians continue to switch off at the top spot in this episode of Beyond Earth. A crashed satellite in the middle of the continent is highly contested between those empires and the Slavics, but the aliens have other plans. Thankfully he has Astroglide to help with the alien pain train.

Epi 7: Patterns

The aliens continue to plague Justin and Rich on the eastern side of the continent in this Beyond Earth matchup. Rich has started to turn the corner with the establishment of Tootsmagoot starting to engage aliens. In the west, JJ and Miles began to expand more and more, as the aliens failed to establish much of a presence. Can they expand faster to the point of putting Justin and Rich to the brink of irrelevancy?

Epi 8: Feeling Uncomfortable

In this episode of Beyond Earth, the Franco-Iberians, led by JJ, begin constructing the Gene Vault in their capital now that the immediate area is clear of aliens. To their south, Miles pushes the aliens further and further eastward, clearing the way for a Slavic south. In the east, Rich and Justin continue their attempts to expand, but the aliens are still too concentrated in this region to be declared safe for new cities.

Epi 9: Not Very Effective

The Franco-Iberians have completed the Gene Vault, the first wonder of this game of Civ BE. Now the focus is to continue the fight for humanity against the aliens. The Slavics are fixing their trade and unemployment issues in their empire. The info on how to deal with Siege Worms comes a bit too late how ever. The Polystralians are hoping that the Strippers and Gold alliance carries over to the new world. And the PAC just hopes to expand out past their alien menace.

Epi 10: This Continent Sucks

We've come 100 turns into this Civ BE multiplayer game. The humans are slowly turning away the aliens that have overrun the planet. The Polystralians figure out the Transcendental Equation during this episode. But the real surprise is the Slavics building the Ectogenesis Pod. We're in the mid game now, so almost everyone is unhappy.

Epi 11: Moon Pies?!

The humans colonists/alien battle continues in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth. The French are attempting to make friends with the world before all the real fighting starts. The Slavics are trying to reign in their worker fleet that the PAC and Polystralia have been monitoring. The PAC are starting to focus their research to be more harmonious with the planet (not the aliens). The strippers and gold alliance from season 5 still seems to be going strong, and it looks like they’ve added a siege worm to their party...

Epi 12: Hitting a Wall

The Franco-Iberian’s declare victory in the north, although the aliens are still there in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth. The PAC finally start adding cities to their empire in the North and might have turned a corner against the green menace. The Slavics have had no issues with the natives and setup their fourth city, although its placement my stir up some issues with their Franco neighbors.

Epi 13: Get it Right!

The Franco-Iberians have pushed the aliens into the corner in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth Multiplayer. The expansion of all of the civs continues though as the planet gets gobbled up more and more, and friction starts to build with spy agencies and ever bigger military forces. The Slavic cities stop the laziness and start building things. The sheek Polystralians complete the Markov Eclipse, and along with their rapid expansion into the middle of the map, they are making a major play to be the dominant force on this planet.

Epi 14: Upgrade Your Unit(s)

Civilizations continue to expand at the expense of the aliens so far in this episode of Beyond Earth. The PAC is making noise by catching up in the technology race as well as reaffirming their faith in Harmony. They’ve also extended a hand of friendship to the Slavics. The Franco-Iberians continue to exterminate the aliens to their north to secure more lands to expand to. The Polystralians seem to be making the most noise though, as they continue to expand into the center of the map as well as keeping their tech lead. They’ve been making upgrades to their unit(s) too.

Epi 15: Trading Railroads

Have the PAC gone crazy in attempting to trade cities in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth? The Slavics don’t quite understand what the PAC is attempting to trade and the other civs catch on quickly to their attempt at city trading. PAC tries to help out other cities as well, but they don’t make much progress. The Franco-Iberians and Polystralians seem to have over-extended themselves and need ways of getting all the health as fast as possible.

Epi 16: Explosive Growth

A siege worm has fallen to the Franco-Iberians in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth as the civs are all making significant progress. The Polystralians have increased their sprawl and have gotten out of their significant health deficit from their expansion. The PAC have made the most progress, despite being stuck early on in a corner, and they know exactly which victory condition they want. Some early diplomacy as well with the Franco-Iberians giving the PAC a gift, which makes the old strippers and gold alliance rather uneasy.

Epi 17: Spy Games

Civilizations are starting to touch borders for the first time in this episode of Civ Beyond Earth. Spy games are continuing as well, and the Franco-Iberians start blaming the PAC for thefts in one of their cities. Other spy games are going on and the Slavic civ may be in for some rough times ahead. The Polystralian have built some new military units with their Purity affinity, outclassing any potential rival they’ve encountered so far. The big question is who is going to challenge them.

Epi 18: Plot Thickenin'

Some border disputes grow in this episode of Civilization Beyond Earth. The Polystralians take issue with some Franco-Iberian artillery units found near one of their cities. The Slavics have also staked claim to territory very close to Polystralian lands. The Franco-Iberians have their own units on the move through Slavic lands and worrying that they are being duped after signing an open-borders treaty. The PAC, furthest from the conflict, have their spies right in the middle of everything.

The cold war remains cold in this episode of Civilization Beyond Earth. The Franco-Iberians continue to hold on the edge of Polystralian territory. Attempts at a surprise attack fail as the Slavic civ gives away their position off the coast.
