NOTW LIII - Return to Ciretako

Day One

Flip Hero's Log:

"Before I took on the main base of Tetron, I had noticed a group of his machines attempting to build a base in an abandoned spaceship nearby. The ship was a long dead alien vessel, but a powerful outpost for the asteroid base. I had to take it down before heading for the real base. Something was amiss about this ship... even the machines seemed hesitant to build a base there.

I would find out why soon enough. I landed on a small asteroid and headed for the alien spaceship, preparing myself for whatever lay ahead. I destroyed the machines guarding the base and cracked a few drones to aid me as I went inside the derelict ship. An old alien computer flickered, it was still functional. It played a single message.

"Emergency! All nearby ships, we're under attack! Send backup now!"

I spied a vaguely familiar name on the computer. The ship's name was Ciretako.

Autolycus, I mean, his name has the word auto in it. It's too obvious! He's clearly an imposter.

as for Lieutenant, I believe I, SK, should be lieutenant, after all I am entirely trustworthy :mischief:

Query: Why does Riedquat vote for a 'kumquat?' There is no 'kumquat' in my list of users for this station. And should machines be self-aware and voting for each other? That violates some part of my programming.

Correction: Riedquat has mentioned himself as a mechanic. I can only assume this means he is a meatbag. Shall we terminate him?

Statement: edse for lieutenant. I like short names.
 
I agree that edse being called a Lieutenant would balance out, a short name with a

It is what the ship's random number generator decreed. In the absence of other commands, established procedure is to follow the Random Number Generator.

I applied the same logic in Coyosis' case, who even managed to mistype its (possibly his?) own name.
 
Statement: I can assure you my circuitry is top-notch. Providing of course meatbags have not meddled with it during down-time.
