Science in the late game - perhaps a bit overtuned. Techs take too long to research, no matter what you do.

Trying to move the focus to the late game - still feels like you have won or lost in the first 150 turns, and the rest of the game is just for show.

Early game gold and happiness - perhaps a little undertuned, but manageable.

Melee vs. Ranged - Better than G+K, only because you can't spam 20 Composite Bows before turn 60 anymore. Melee still feel like linebackers rather than damage dealers, though.

Tall vs. Wide - Tall is winning out at the moment. Wide is still doable and there are still advantages to going wide (gold and weakening opponents, mostly). You just can't go wide with Tradition quite as easily, which is good.

Tradition > all - since you can't afford huge armies in the early game, opening Honor is more viable (also thanks to increased Barbarians), making each of your units count for more is important. Tradition also can't support wide puppet empires quite as well anymore, because a lot of happiness is tucked away in the late game with ideologies. Honor+Trad doesn't work quite as well as Liberty+honor for warmongering, now.

Religions, Piety opening - haven't tried this yet. You definitely need to invest a lot more effort if you want a decent religion now, though.

Culture Victory - new hotness. Better than Science Victory now. Very engaging play.
