Phantoms of Pre-Columbia: Native Civilizations of America, Asia, and Australia

Kaweskar

Leader: Terwa Koyo
UA: Sea Nomads: Civilians lose no movement points from moving between land and sea. +2 Culture from Improved Sea Resources.
UU: Jektael: Replaces Worker and Work Boat. Can Embark Instantly and improve Sea Resources as well as Land Resources. Doesn't consume when doing either.
UU: Hallef: Replaces Cargo Ship. Generates Science while outside your territory. +1 Gold for each Sea Resource along their route.
UB: At: Replaces Hospital. Unlocked Earlier, at Navigation. +5 Food. +2 Gold from Incoming Trade Routes. +2 extra Gold from Incoming Trade Routes upon discovery of Flight.

Map + further info.

The Ngarrindjeri could also be interesting. I recall someone saying in this forum that they came the closest to actually getting agriculture, their relation with the british settlers was quite interesting too.

David Unaipon could work as civ leader, maybe.

Thanks for the Aboriginal suggestions guys! I'll read about them tomorrow. And Hoop, I like that design for the Kaweskar, I'll use it when I do them. Right now my priorities are the Taino, Seminole, and Apache. I'll definitely do the Kaweskar soon after those three are done.

Ok so I found two designs for the Anangu Aboriginals, one by TPangolin and one by Urdnot_Scott (Here are the links to their respective designs: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=512802&page=234, http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=13623629&#post13623629). I decided to synthesize them and add my own touches to it. What do you guys think?

Anangu

Leader:?

UA: Dream Time: Gain :c5goldenage: Golden Age points from acquiring new tiles. During a :c5goldenage: Golden Age, Natural Wonders and Holy Sites yield +2 :c5culture: Culture and an additional +1 :c5culture: Culture for every adjacent desert tile.

UU: Tingarri: Replaces Missionary. Moves twice as fast on desert tiles. May build weaker Holy Sites (+2 :c5faith: Faith instead of +6).

UB: Bora Ring: Replaces Shrine. +1 :c5faith: Faith and +1 :c5culture: Culture. Increases the speed of border expansion by 25% of the city's :c5faith: Faith output.

Err... you are aware that TPangolin is probably going to do that civ as part of Colonialist Legacies, right?

Assuming you go for piety, and you will go for piety, Dat Holy site thing would be OP. Remember, Piety is very abusable with faith focused civs.

I talked with TPangolin yesterday and I'll be helping out Colonialist Legacies with the Anangu whenever they start production on it.

True. I'll balance this design later.

Also, I just came up with a design for the Ryukyu:

Ryukyu Kingdom

Leader: Sho Shin

UA: The Three Mountains: Ryukyu and their ally gain an extra :trade: trade route upon making a Declaration of Friendship. Gain 10% more :c5science: Science from science agreements for each :trade: trade route you have with the other civ.

UGP: Yukatchu: Replaces Great Scientist. Upon being expending, gain a sum of :c5culture: culture that is directly proportional to the total :c5culture: culture per turn of all civs that have a Declaration of Friendship with you.

UB Gusuku: Replaces Castle. +2 :c5culture: Culture. One Scientist Specialist slot that when filled provides an additional +2 :c5culture: Culture.

Ok so I've started working on the Taino and they'll be the first civ to be completed. I do need help with the following things however:

Ideas for E&D
E&D Lua
Cacique Unit Graphic
Music

If anyone can help or has ideas please let me know.

IIRC correctly, Leugi was planning to do this civ too. Maybe you'd like to contact him, most of his civs have been colaborations lately...

Exciting stuff Uighur, only just found this thread. As always I'd be more than happy to help if you need any ideas, but am fairly useless with coding for now. Definitely hope to see these become a reality soonish!

Thanks! Right now any designs and/or decisions for the civs in the OP would be greatly appreciated.

I also just found out that the Arawak were in Civ 4 Colonization. This is their diplomacy song from that game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eQTgPWlAcM

Do you guys think it's better for war or peace?

I've also added a Strawpoll at the bottom of the OP so you can vote on the next civ. I may not necessarily do the one with the highest votes immediately after the Taino, it's more so I feel motivated to do the map, research, XML, etc. I've also only included the ones that have some semblance of a design right now.

I'd mostly judge it compared with whatever else you find, for example you could use this for peace:

while using that one for war.
