Generally you make changes in ModBuddy and then re-build the mod, which re-builds the xxxx.modinfo file.
Where's the XML file structure?

The mod didn't work, so I opened your link, and in the first guide I succeeded in what I should have I done, but in the http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=487846 second one I didn't understand what to do.
