too many aqueducts?

It seems that if a wonder is built that allows a city to grow beyond the size 6, the AI does not understand it and advises to build an aqueduct anyway, as indicated in this report.
While this is just annoying for the player, it could mean that the AI builds unnecessary aqueducts.
