Civ 5 won't start

Ok...so just bougt a copy of Civ V...legit copy, serial number etc.

Loaded onto PC, dowloaded Steam, registered copy, etc.
Civ 5 won't load, Windows experienced an unexpected error...


My graphics card is only thing that is below spec....is that enough to not allow it to load????

When I first got Civilization V my graphics card was below specifications and the main menu lagged, so I'm going to assume yes.

Please attach your DxDiag file (my what?!?), then we'll see further.

Sadly it doesn't run with that graphics card, no chance .
