Game of the Year: SUPER MARIO GALAXY (NINTENDO)

GlaDOS is sweeping all the Best new Character awards

Still havn't played Super Mario Galaxy.

Not a bad list, I think CoD4 or Crysis multi would be a hell of a lot better than Rock band. But I havn't played any of those besides the demo for the first two.

Finally a list that doesn't put the mediocre frag fest of Halo on it. Which means this list is true.

SMG is only the EDITORS choice for GOTY. In the polls CoD4 is winning as it should.

Finally a list that doesn't put the mediocre frag fest of Halo on it. Which means this list is true.

While I definetely like that fact, I'm surprised that Halo 3 didn't win ANY award.

I believe Gamespot rated Super Mario Galaxy higher than Call of Duty 4.

You believe wrong. SMG is the editors choice.

SMG has 12% of the general gamer vote. CoD4 has 23%(the most as of now).

I might have put Bioshock as having better atmosphere than Stalker, despite being the weaker game overall.

Can't really comment much though, given I haven't played most of the games. Delighted with the Portal mentions, obviously :)
