Gamemodes to play with only 2 players

Anyone could give me an idea for a gamemode to play with my mate? I know the game is meant to be played with more players but is there any reasonable option to try out?

Duel/1v1, 2v2 Teamer, 2 player team vs a world of AI, FFA with AI's.

I was pondering this as well -- friend of mine and I are MP newbs but were hoping we could set up a game of us vs a bunch of AIs -- pretty easy?

Very easy, just make sure to check mark private game at the top right if you don't want random people joining.
