Had some fun times with beta, most surprising are the more active diplomacy, which is nice!
1) Fun having folks coming to you. Maybe doesn't sit well with others, but it feels a lot more interactive.
2) World Congress: Got voted in by the previous Host. I supported Portugal to becoming the host, helped them pass a few of their proposals, second time I voted Portugal back as host to ensure there was a friend on my side, ended up becoming the host as Portugal gave me all of her delegates. At this point, we have crazy friendship and same ideology. Also helped repeal a luxury ban on an important luxury of mine. Pretty neat game!
