Cant go to next turn

The game will not let me go to the next turn because it says choose production. When I click on it it brings me to the city and it already had production orders. help

Did you sell a city in a peace deal? If you didn't set production for that city before you sold it, this will happen. It actually occurred in my Carthage LP which was embarrassing and annoying to replay parts of it.

Hopefully you autosave every turn.

Happened to me recently too. I settled a city just to sell it so I could tourism bomb it without having to march my Musician half way across the world (concert minus the tour part ). I couldn't end my turn because I never assigned production before selling it off.
