DLC Maps

Finally got around to trying out some DLC Maps, first to choose was Western Europe. So unsettling to see a hard edge of NO!!! while exploring. Are all the scrambled continents like this? Not complaining too much since Mt. Kilimanjaro was like 7 hex away while I'm messing with Spain but still lol. How many of these DLC maps are hard edged like this.

Yes, all the maps that don't use a random-world-generator are like that. How could it work otherwise? ^^ Would be kind of strange if you could walk east from Germany and find Great Britain...

Non-island maps are likely to be hard-edged. Island maps are likely to be wrapped.

Not sure which goes which but as far as i know Earth is thankfully wrapped.

I know that logically this is obvious, perhaps I should rephrase my question to what maps are hard edged? I assume some of the DLC maps still have a global quality, while others do not. This is what I am wondering.
