Think I found it
Even as a human player, you cannot attack all other players naval units, after you switch to be a pirate!!
You try to attack, and nothing happens. But interestingly this is only against a few civs (Dido, Boudica and Bolgios on my standard map game with Phoenicia), the attack works against all the other civs...
This can easily cause infinite loops in the hands of the AI
What's handled differently for the Carthagians, Britons and Celts? They are not even after each other in the civ order, so it's probably not a typo in the code..

"Eternal 'Waiting for other civs" is a bug present even in default BTS. It cannot be fixed without breaking Mac compatibility. It's caused by a unit getting stuck in an endless loop of joining and splitting from a group. At this time the only solution is to go into worldbuilder and delete different units until you find the culprit. Most common triggers are naval units passing through other naval units (especially Pirates/Privateers)."
 
Hi,I cannot play this mod actually.After installation and patch 2 I get GFC error(I haven't renamed the mod folder).I have the steam version with bug+bull mod.Maybe I have to disable the other mod?

in error log (for GFC it is log file in folder with EXE file) you can find what wrong and what you need to do - paste it here ^)
 
Hi all!

First of all, thank you for this nice-looking mod. I have a problem with tech tree: when asking for technology advisor, the tech tree is blank. The game works - at least how much I tried yet, but when starting a game, I have no menu interface - only see the map and unit. When I get to windows and go back to the game, the menu interface shows up, but the tech tree remains blank. Could anyone help with this? I play the latest available version: Pie's Ancient Europe V+Patch 3 04.04.2015

Tried downloading again. Unfortunately same problem. Can someone tell me which files shall I look for - if I've got them. The folder I have is 977...... bites.
 
Hi,

first of all you should enable the Display of Python errors.
Look into CivilizationIV.ini in My Games\Beyond the Sword and search for HidePythonExceptions.
Code:
118 ; Set to 1 for no python exception popups
119 HidePythonExceptions = 0

After this changes at least one error message should appear if some GUI errors appears.

I can not give you information about the correct mod size, but the main files for the GUI drawing could be found in Mods/PieAncientEuropeV/Assets/Python/Screens/. The tech tree screen is CvTechChooser.py

This is a really weird error: 'CvUnitInfo' object has no attribute getEspionagePoints(). The CvUnitInfo-Class is defined by Civ4 itself. Did you get the same error in Civ4:BTS?
 
is BTS updated to version 3.19 ?
 
while loading a new mod, sometimes it helps to clear the game cache.
Clear the cache by holding down the SHIFT key while the game loads.
