Caravanessey

Hi guys. A quick question regarding a Caravanessy (probably spelt wrong). If I build a caravan in city A, then build a caravanessy in same city will the bonus still take immediate effect? Or do you need to build the caravenessy first? Also, can I build a caravan in city B, send it to city A with the caravanessy in it and still get the bonus from the caravanessy?

Caravansary takes immediate effect whether you build it after or before - it's a bonus to the city, not the caravans itself. You can't get the bonus from the caravansary with a caravan between your own cities because trade routes between your own cities don't produce gold.
